Loved the age and elegance of the hotel with high ceilings and real wood floors. The bath, with lots of hot water, was lovely as I was cold and damp. The location along from the bus station. Being able to borrow an umbrella!

Great location. Easy to park motorbike. Staff lovely. Hotel is very grand and looks newly refurbished. Comfortable rooms but no extras such as air-conditioning, fan or hairdryer. They no longer serve breakfast either but there are cafes within a short walk to obtain food and drinks. Stayed here several times.

Beautiful building with elegant reception rooms and bedrooms in beautiful San Vicente de la Barquera.. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Comfortable beds. Very well located near the marina and restaurants. Very good facility for secure storage for ebikes and battery charging.

Good, clean and authentic hotel in Centre of town. Slept well. Lovely renovated place with thoughtful touches and loved water saving toilet on ground floor. Mind you, being British prefer a toilet seat to cold porcelain base in my bum!

“Spanish Falwty Towers”

It's like the Spanish version of Falwty Towers. Absolutely amazing. Everything is old-time, even the guy who checks you in. I will definitely come back here, next time I'm in town.

Everything was decent for us - the room, location, wifi, beds, bathroom. It was clean and comfortable. As we were taking buses, it was great that the hotel is just down the road from the bus station.

Good location. We parked the car on the Quay opposite the hotel. There are plenty of places to eat dinner and breakfast. We walked to the castle and also the church. Lovely estuary.
