The problems were with booking.com, the slow interaction with the hostess and the location. This property is on a hill which is accessible by steps from Calle Nieve. This is not practical in heat with baggage. My taxi driver could not find the property. I had to ring the host to get her to give directions to the taxi driver. The apartment is at the end of a narrow alley that is accessible only by foot over the last 50 to 100 metres. This should have been flagged in the website with clear directions on how to proceed. It is not suitable for people with mobility issues. Therefore, a €4 taxi fare cost me €10 plus the mobile phone call. I suggest you clearly label this property as having accessibility and mobility-impaired issues. The directions for a taxi driver are "CUARTEL GUARDIA CIVILE Y ESQUINA DE CALLE MULAGUA", then the walk to the door. The apartment has enough kitchen fittings to host a large party but only a single bed. That's an issue for the host but, to me, a lopsided investment. It is about a 10minute walk down to San Sebastián via the steps but a taxi back.

Beautiful apartment. Very comfortable. Lots of stairs to climb to arrive at the apartment. We walked up from the ferry but I think you could arrive by car or taxi.

Comfortable spacious apartment not far from San Sebastian city centre. Spotlessly clean, parking available. Very friendly and attentive host, easy to solve anything and get the keys. Would surely come again.

Very new and clean apartment with everything in a superb state. Short walk downhill to bus station and large supermarket.
