“Ideal location in the Zona Rosa, affordable.”
Centrally located in the Zona Rosa. Close to where we were catching the Pullman bus to Guatemala the next morning; relatively cheap. The facilities are okay, not fantastic, but there's a private bathroom. Staff is friendly, they kept some things for us to be picked up by friends for several days.

La Zona is a great hostel in San Salvador. Around the area, you'll find many nice restaurants and shopping malls.

“Good solid hostel to stay at if visiting San Salvador”
Nice comfortable room and beds. Very well located in a safe location with plenty places in walking distance. Quick taxi to the centre but the place is definitely nicer than the centre. Staff helpful, even giving us her own umbrella when it was raining. Breakfast was ok, nothing special

“Great Location and great atmosphere”
The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was really good. The room was large and there was hot showers, air conditioning and a TV. Breakfast was different the two day we were there. There was free hot and cold drinking water available 24/7. The location was in a good area and we went out one evening and walked to a couple of breweries. The Tica bus stop is just across the road.
