Our short stay at this agriturismo was definitely the highlight of our trip. The room was very clean and comfortable and the outside area is really calm and relaxing and offers a beautiful view. But what really made our stay special was the warm welcome we got from Filippo and Igniva. They made us feel at home right away, gave us useful recommendations for places to visit or where to eat in the neighbourhood and even offered explanations about beekeeping, a tour of their beehive and a tasting of their delicious honeys and liqueurs. They even brought us along to a nearby village fair where we got to taste many different (and delicious) preparations of a local variety of artichoke. Overall, this made for a unique experience and we cannot recommend it highly enough.

Wherever you choose to stay you will not find more hospitable, friendly and welcoming hosts than Filippo and Igniva. From the moment we arrived we knew we had chosen the right place to stay. The outside breakfast area, the pool, jacuzzi and the room we stayed in were all wonderfully fresh and modern. This agriturismo is an ongoing project and work is yet to be completed on some of the outside areas, but if the work done so far is anything to go by, the finished product will be even more amazing. As an extra bonus we were given the opportunity to sample some of the delightful home made liqueurs and honey from their own hives and we ended up buying some of these to take home with us along with all the interesting things which we learned about bees and honey! In summary, this is an awesome place with everything you need from an agriturismo including ample parking, a pool and a very quite and peaceful sunbathing area. To top it off there is a reasonably priced, no frills restaurant serving excellent food within easy walking distance. Thank you so much Filippo and Igniva. We will definitely be coming back.

We had SUCH a lovely time here. The owners are the most friendly people and were full of helpful suggestions for what to do in the area. We really felt like they took us in as one of their own and were even invited one night to attend a local festival. They are a couple that run a bee keeping and liquor making business on the side of the accommodation. Every morning we had a delicious breakfast consisting of freshly baked croissants and their own honey, with coffee and fruit also supplied. We were offered the opportunity to do a liquor tasting/explanation of their homemade products (all delicious, especially the limoncello!) as well as honey tasting/explanation (a selection of their different honeys from different flowers) and even bee-keeping experience (no extra cost!). In terms of location, it is ideally located next to the cilento national park. There are plenty of hikes and opportunities for wild swimming (use 'all trails' app for ideas) - we would recommend 'gola del calore' and 'sentiero soregenti sammaro' (be sure to park near the start of the actual trail for this, NOT in the town as it is a big hill) as hikes. There are also lots of nearby small towns to visit and eat/have a coffee. The pool is a 'wild pool' meaning it is filtered by plants eg lillies and does not use chlorine - we loved making use of this. There is a restaurant 200m down the road which is open every night until midnight for food, but there are many other options if you are willing to drive to one of the other nearby towns. They are a really passionate and enthusiastic couple and we wish them all the best in the future.
