Federica and her husband were super nice, friendly, chatty and helpful. Apartment had everything we needed. Great view of Siena and surrounding hills, their estate had the classic row of cypress trees as well! When the windows are closed, you don't hear the highway, OK for April when it's still cold-ish at night.

“The most amazing stay in Tuscany!”

EVERYTHING! Federica and her family is so amazing, they really care for their guests. We had breakfast included and she take so much care to prepare also gluten free, lactose free and vegan breakfast. It was so worth it and delicious. The food is all bio, they produce everything by themself. It’s truly a gem. We are coming back 100%!

“Just amazing”

What a gem!! We arrived arround 8 PM so we could not really see the property well as it was dark. Federica and her husband welcomed us with such a warm smile and made us feel really confortable, showed us arround our apartment. The apartment is very big, 2 bedrooms in opposite side and a kitchen in between and each has its own batroom. This is not o property for those who seek luxury, although you have all the facilities, but seek originality of the Tuscan vibe anda warm place to stay. The house itself dates from 18 century so it ia just amazing. Besides the goodies with which we were welcomed, the breakfast…. Oh my God… you can not ask for more. Federica also asked us after 2 days of we preffer something else so she could personalize our breakfast. Also she gave us a lot of helpfull advises on where to go, to eat and park, and this is something she does with everyone that comes, but even so, you can see she does everything with passion. The next day we woke up in a perfect Tuscan scenery, it was magical. We relaxed a bit by the pool, in the evening we stayed drinking a glass of wine in the garden… perfect relaxation. I could not recommend this place more. People who left bad reviews…. Probably they were searching for something else or they just do not want to fully enjoy a holiday. Kisses Federica, hope we will see eachother again 🥰😘

The peace, the warmth of the people and beautiful Toscane view!

Very nice farm stay near Siena. Friendly owners provided all information and help we needed. We felt like at home in the beautiful Tuscan landscape. Convenient and well equipped apartment, nice pool area. Options to walk arround the fields and wineyards, the village of Rocco nearby with restaurants and shops.

Federica with his husband (and lovely dog Chopin) are more than friendly hosts, willing to operatively answer all your questions and help with your needs, giving tips and recommendations. If you find a quiet spot in a classic Tuscany way, Podere Cartaio is your choice. Ideal outcoming point to visit all your favourite spots in Tuscany or Chianti region.

On arrival we were personally greeted and were given some home made pasta, wine, cheese and salami which was most welcomed after our long journey.

We really enjoyed our stay. Frederica and her husband Guglielmo helped us out with places to walk and things to do. we especially enjoyed the Farm Experience where we made pasta and baked bread in their pasta factory and then tasted local delights afterwards. an unforgettable evening!

Perfect accommodation! First of all, excellent location - in the middle of Tuscany. Twenty minutes from Sina and five minutes from the nearest village that has everything. Secondly, really nice hosts! They gave us lots of recommendations, helped us with the shopping and even brought us fresh homemade pasta and a bottle of wine. The view around the house is beautiful 😍

“A relaxing break in a comfortable and characterful Tuscany farmhouse”

Federica and her family were very welcoming and hospitable hosts, and their property on the family farm is beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing in the share of the trees, swimming every day, and socialising in the covered patio each evening. There is so much space in the villa - it even has two extra kitchen/living rooms, so our group of 7 adults and 1 child had plenty of space to ourselves. The views from the garden over their rolling fields to Siena's towers in the distance were a perfect view of Tuscany.

The hosts were just wonderful, they were so welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. On our arrival they left us wine and local food. The house is beautiful, a real family farm house with spacious living room and a lovely outdoor area. The apartment has a very well equipped kitchen and comfortable bedroom and bathroom. We were very relaxed here. We will definitely come back. And the breakfast was incredible!!!
