The owners are so lovely and very helpful. They don’t speak English but they will make sure you have everything you need. The food is great and cheap. It was the cheapest room we got during our 2-week trip in Costa Rica

Good location and amazing people

The staff is definitely the biggest highlight of our stay! They were very kind and attentive with us, always available to answer questions and try to accommodate our needs. They do not speak English though, so we highly recommend you practice your Spanish and rely on translation devices. The food was pretty good and had a homemade feel to it, since there are not many options around, we ended up having most of our meals there.

The best price-quality value, good location when you plan to do Celeste River hike, the entrance to the park was really close. Otherwise it is somehow in the middle of nowhere. The accommodation is part of Soda Irma (better look for this sign than for hotel's one when arriving), so you can get dinner right there which was really good. Hosts were really friendly, they would appreciate if you can speak Spanish at least a bit. Good place for people not scared of animals, there are holes in the walls and we had a guest in our room who ate our banana - mouse :) but the room is located in the nature, so nothing unexpectable.
