“Rural retreat family run”
This is a very rural experience and it was really lovely to get away from the world. The accommodation is super authentic Italian run by two sisters. Ester makes wonderful breakfast and breakfast cakes. The restaurant is run by her cousin real family affair they do wonderful food we went there 3 times and enjoyed looking down the Tuscany valley. The pool was Devine after a big day of cycling it’s 700 m down the road at the homestead. The location is 6 km out of San Quirico d’Orcia along a gravel road just so you are aware of this as noted rural retreat

Most charming and amazing place you can imagine. Beautiful stone house in the middle of beautiful Val d”Orcia surrounded by endless vineyards and olive trees. Breathtaking views from the estate. Pure definition of Tuscany. I have no words to describe the charm of this place. What makes it really special are the most friendly hosts. Ester and the whole family make you feel at home. Homemade breakfasts by Ester is sth you cannot miss! And their own wine, olive oil and jams produced in La Moiana are so delicious. And they love animals! As a dog lover I was so happy to play with those sweet and friendly dogs. Last but not least, the swimming pool has to be appreciated especially after some sightseeing, a great place for evening relaxation. It was a perfect and unforgettable stay!!!!

We felt very welcome and looked after from the moment we arrived. We were particularly impressed by the additional services on offer, such as the sensational home cooked dinners using local produce plus wine selection, as well as the use of their wonderful swimming pool!

Our six-day escape to La Moina Agriturismo, beautifully perched in the hills above San Quirico, was a perfect blend of tranquility and Tuscan charm. This peaceful haven offered stunning views of Val di Orcia and Montalcino, making every moment memorable. From our warm welcome with a complimentary bottle of their own exquisite wine, to the cozy, well-appointed room with its fully-equipped kitchen, every aspect of La Moina made us feel at home. We enjoyed preparing meals with fresh ingredients and dining outside at the BBQ area, all while soaking in the breathtaking scenery. Strategically located, La Moina is just 15 to 30 minutes away from all major sites in the region, making it an ideal base for exploring. The on-site restaurant was a culinary delight, serving outstanding local dishes accompanied by an excellent selection of wines from the region. Not only were we treated to fresh eggs from the hosts' nearby farm, but we also had the pleasure of visiting this farm, where we discovered a swimming pool and horses—a delightful experience for any animal lover or anyone looking to relax even further. The additional amenities, including recliners and a hot tub in select rooms, contributed to the restful and rejuvenating atmosphere. La Moina is not just an agriturismo; it’s a comprehensive experience of Tuscan life and hospitality. We left feeling refreshed and enriched, already planning our next visit to relive the unforgettable days spent at this jewel in Tuscany.
