Everything - from the place, to the breakfast, to the service, it was absolutely fantastic! Hotel recommendations where great too! Ladies in reception were beyond helpful and so friendly! We were given a tour of the castle by Alessandra - she was fantastic! We didn't want to leave!

We were so lucky to stay here!! The property is beautiful. The rooms are large and clean with lovely views over the grounds of the 15th century castle. The breakfast is the best we have ever had in our many travels through Italy! So delicious and copious. Perfectly cooked eggs and pancetta, fresh fruit perfectly ripe. Katia’s restaurant recommendation for an evening dinner was perfect. Most of all, Katia and Stefano were so kind to us and to our children and our dog. We had a problem with our car and they went out of their way to find and call a mechanic in the area, who managed to solve our problem. We want to come back and enjoy the region more and will definitely stay here again. Grazie mille!

“Pleasant environment for a short stay in the area.”

The staff were very friendly and helpful, very welcoming and helped us find local restaurants. The location is very rural, lots of wildlife and a neighbouring castle. Breakfast was mixed and plentiful and served very attentively.

We only spent one night on our journey from Slovenia to Turin, and the hotel was excellent. The staff was very friendly—as if you were at someone's home. Every step you take is surrounded by art. Since we don’t speak Italian, they took us on a private tour of the castle and an art exhibition—I highly recommend it! Because the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, they recommended and booked dinner for us at a nearby restaurant, where the food was excellent. If you’re looking for peace, friendly staff, art, and history, this is the hotel for you.

You arrive at the park like setting dotted with sculptures and enter the most beautifully restored villa. The rooms are generous, and the bathroom has a superb selection of toiletries. Katia made us feel so welcome throughout, including making our booking at an excellent local restaurant. The art theme is carried throughout the property. The added bonus was the adjacent castle on the property, which was fascinating. Breakfast was served in style by Stefan. It was the best value for money we have had in the last 2 weeks of our trip. If you are planning a wedding this would be ideal. Arriving up a tree lined avenue lit by oil lamps and entering the castle over the old drawbridge into the inner courtyard. Dramatic & memorable!

“Wonderful place for the stay in the ancient town”

Everything was wonderful - place, nature, comfortable room (the host upgraded the room complimentary, it was very kind). The breakfast was tasty and individual, the parking was comfortable. The reception ladies Katia and Alessandra are very friendly, helpful and attentive. There is an old castle on the territory (or the hotel is on the territory of the castle), the excursion is proposed for the hotel guests. The hotel does not have a restaurant for the dinner, but ladies helped with a booking the wonderful restaurant in 10 min from the hotel by a car.

“Comfortable stay next to a renaissance castle”

We stayed here three nights and were generously upgraded to a bigger room as there were few other guests at the time. Katia and Alessandra are the best possible hostesses and everything is very comfortable. We enjoyed just relaxing in the castle garden in the evenings.

You read the reviews and think, "could these be fake?" But in this case it wasn't. Our stay was better than expected, chiara the host was so gentile and simpatica that my daughter now wants to be married there. What an amazing experience, the seclusion and tranquillity that we need after many long flights. Brava signora Chiara, lei 👏.....

“Amazing Service and a Castle”

Our experience was incredible. We came with our 6-month-old baby and the host arranged for us a baby bed without extra payment which was very kind and made our experience start very positively. We also got a private tour of the castle, which was fantastic and very interesting. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very kind. It is truly an amazing experience and definitely worth the price and we highly recommend you visit there. We give this place 10/10.
