“Fantastic view”

The hotel is up on a hill and the view is fantastic but there is nothing to do in the village. And in offseason the atmosphere is kinda sad. It was nice that we received a mini bottle of wine and the fact that we had a coffee machine in the room (although wasn’t cleaned after the previous guests).

bed super comfortable,food good at restaurant especially starter, ,wine is delicious and not too expensive,views aslo beautiful.breakfast aslo really nice,sweet fruits, nuts,delicious two types of eggs, even have natural bee nets. really good of details.we really enjoy there.

“The perfect spot to combine the Valpoliccela wine regiin with vist to Verona!”

The location was perfect in the heart of the Valpolicella region. Views over the wine region and a buzzing bistro connected to the hotel and town centre. Easy acces of 15min to Verona!

Amazing view and an atmosphere of relaxation, very cosy rooms and great breakfast with a view.

Breakfast was outstanding, room and bathroom super clean, staff at breakfast, dinner (in the bistro) and at the reception all super friendly and helpful. Castrum is also in a lovely location with great views and lots of sunshine.

Lovely location. Enjoy the experience of a an urban vineyard stay. Dinner at their restaurant is one of our best/memorable meal in our three weeks in Italy.

Location with history and style. We loved everything. The story behind the rooms design, the view, the piazzetta the bistro. The menu was diverse and great. Totally recomand and wouldn’t like to come back.

don't go there for the wine, or the food, they send you to the bistrot where they serve mainly Castrum wines (vini per gli amercani) and foreign wines !! and the staff does not know much about it. No tasting offered, only the room is decent, but not worth going out of your way. breakfast was very good and pleasant

Very nice selection and high quality breakfast. The hotel's bar offers amazing selection of drinks and food. The location is superb for travelers who look for accomodation away from the noise of cities and towns. The hotel is located on a hill surrounded by wineyards.

Fantastic place! Lovely location, fantastic view. Modern, large, comfortable and very nice rooms. Very well decorated. Very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing breakfast and great to eat on the lovely terrace with the view. Loved the bistro. Good bistro food (efficiency of service had improvement potential, but waiters were very friendly).

Such an interesting property with stunning views over the countryside. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed for our overnight stay. We ate dinner in the very busy bistro and particularly enjoyed the plentiful tapas .

Wonderful place! We highly recommend Castrum hotel. Beautifully situated with tasty breakfast and great bistro where you can eat something in the evening. For sure we'll come back there in the future.

“Nydelig sted og utsikt med god vin”

We were two mates on a motorcycle trip and had booked accommodation at Castrum for one night. We received an incredibly warm welcome from the hostess and enjoyed good wine and a lovely view. The rooms were also very good. The wine tasting in the bistro was not quite as expected, but the rest was great. We would love to go back here!
