We had a wonderful stay at Sababa Resort. The location is absolutely idyllic, and visiting during the off-season made the experience feel even more intimate, peaceful, and secluded. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The facilities are exceptionally well maintained, and everything felt clean and cared for throughout our stay. The included breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to start the day well. One thing to note is that the town itself can be quite noisy at times, with music and occasional fireworks, but the hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs upon arrival, which we appreciated. Communication with the hotel before and during our stay was efficient and responsive. However, there was one aspect that felt slightly disappointing. On the morning of check-out, we received a call reminding us to vacate the room while we were simply finishing packing our suitcases. Given that the resort was nearly empty at the time, the sense of urgency felt a little unnecessary and was something we had not encountered elsewhere during our travels. That said, the staff were kind enough to store our luggage after check-out while we spent the day exploring nearby towns, which was very helpful and appreciated. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only wish we had booked more nights. The beautiful setting, relaxing atmosphere, and excellent facilities made for a memorable experience, and we would happily return in the future.

“unpleasant, not really worth the $$”

Breakfast was okay, however myself and my two friends got sick after staying at this resort. We don't know if it was the food or unsanitary water

The dorm was spacious with enough ahowers and toilets. The bar/restaurants were cozy and food was good. Enough places to chill and a nice swimming pool. The staff is also exceptionally nice. Josefa helped me really well when i needed to fix a mistake.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt calm and welcoming. The place is beautifully designed, clean, and well-maintained, with a relaxing vibe that instantly puts you in vacation mode. The attention to detail and the overall aesthetic really stood out.

Big room, big bed, hot shower, good breakfast and nice hotel area. Also enjoyed the onsite yoga class.

The property is beautiful. Lovely pool and rooms. Very attentive and friendly staff. I stayed in multiple hotels in Guatemala this was the best. The member of staff working at the restaurant pool area who wears the red hat is a real asset to the resort he was constantly running around and managed to be fun and patient even with my friend who was a little drunk.

Great location in san pedro, easy to walk to everything and close to the water. Large lovely pool. Delicious buffet breakfast and coffee! The beds were very comfortable Hot water to shower with!

The resort is great, well-maintained, and the service is really good. Josefa is a fantastic point of contact for any questions, and the rest of the staff (like Kata) are also very friendly and competent! The resort has a beautiful pool, and the food and drinks are delicious. I stayed in one of the dorms and felt very comfortable there. The rooms are very clean. All in all, we’re very satisfied.

“Great relaxing stay with beautiful views of the lake”

The resort was absolutely beautiful. Great location with an amazing view of the lake. The rooms were very clean and every morning they came to ask if I needed cleaning. I was early with check in but the room was not ready yet but I could use all the facilities and with check out I could also stay and enjoy my day at the poool. Breakfast was good.

It’s quite overpriced and not really a resort. It’s also located next to a nightclub waking you up in the middle of the night. All in all it fine, but not at this price range.

Everything except the showers was great. The breakfast especially is amazing. It is a little more pricey than other hostels (it is a resort) but it was comfortable and the pool was great
