I asked for soap in the bathroom, after two days it still wasn't refilled, but I got told that it would be done everyday. That was annoying and should be taken more seriously with so many guests.

“An oasis in the desert”
Hostel is well located, two blocks away from Main Street “Caracoles” where you can find restaurants, cafes and bars. Staff were so nice at all times, thanks Nicole, Cecilia, Nico and all staff for all your help. The room was tidy, spacious, comfortable in general. The toilet was clean and we had hot water at all times. Hostel has a kitchen and fridges if you want to cook, has an outdoor swimming pool and common areas, it is very nice and relaxing. Totally recommended if you visit San Pedro de Atacama.

Puna has everything you would expect from a good hostel. The place is quite large, so there is a huge common area. The kitchen is well-equipped. There are lockers outside the rooms. I read some reviews about noise coming from a nearby club throughout the night. I'm not sure if the club still exists, but there was no noise, and I stayed there over the weekend.
