Lovely and quiet, very clean and the staff were really helpful. Secure parking with help your self tea and coffee at any time of the day/night.

Very nice facilities, very helpful lady at reception. She gave us a lot of advice re trips and got us a flask of cocoa tea to prevent altitude sickness Breakfast was very good and the lady who I think made the food and served it was lovely.

Maria Jose. The receptionist who is on duty every day from about 8 am to 8 pm worked tirelessly to make sure everyone who was staying. There had the best possible experience. Her English was excellent and she gave us fantastic advice and helped us book tours. The location of the property is perfect, we had a car which was great. It is a Haven within a desert. Peaceful and so clean. I would recommend it to any of my friends.

Lodge Quelana is a true oasis of peace just outside San Pedro de Atacama. Beautifully designed in a local style, very tasteful and exceptionally clean. The team is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, always helpful and caring.

“A wonderful hotel in a quiet, pretty location, with the nicest staff ever!”

A really lovely little hotel in a quiet rural location just out of town. The best bit was that the staff were SO friendly and helpful, always smiling, and they went over and above to help us get the most from our stay. They were especially helpful when we had problems booking tickets for the tourist attractions around San Pedro. The breakfast was delicious, all home made, cakes, breads and yoghurts, fresh coffee and freshly cooked omelettes or eggs. The rural location was perfect, a lovely garden, pool, and the rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated in the local style. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

“Great Stay at San Pedro de Atacama”

Staff: super professional and attentive. Many thanks to Paola, Marcia and Nadja (from the breakfast service) who made our stay much more nice. Room: spacious, cozy, comfortable and clean. Bathroom: shower is very relaxing, with high pressure hot water. Breakfast: Very tasty and had a good selection of items (my wife is lactose intolerant and they were able to provide lactose-free milk and yogurt upon request). It starts at 7:30am, but if you are heading out early to visit the sights, just let the staff know the day before and they will provide you with a bag with some breakfast items. Parking: you can park your car with no extra cost. Location: it is about 4km from downtown so you can reach Quelana by driving along Ruta 23 or with with a shuttle service. It would be great to have more signs on the road indicating where Quelana is. Check out is at 12pm but we planned to leave the city after 8pm, as we were going to visit the Altiplanic Lagoons, so our luggage was left in a locker. We came back to Quelana Lodge about 7pm and showered in a bathroom (very clean) next to the pool. All at no additional cost. We would definitely stay at Quelana again!

The breakfast was excellent. It's served in a cozy dinning room; you are greeted by a hostess who will serve you a morning beverage of your choice and ask what hot breakfast dish you would like. If you need to leave the hotel before breakfast is served, you can request the reception for a snack bag the day before. Comfortable bed! This is a very secluded, quiet and secure property. It seems that all rooms are in their own spacious cabin - very clean, cozy and well decorated. During your stay you can reach the reception via WhatsApp for any questions you may have. It's worth the location but you do need a car. It is about a 5 minute drive from the downtown area of San Pedro. I'm glad I chose this hotel as it's away from the dusty town, light and noise. Staff is excellent!

“Exceptional staff !”

Slightly outside town. This place is a quiet oasis to go rest after exploring the desert. The rooms were spacious, beautiful, and very clean. With a good breakfast and a quiet swimming pool area to relax. But, the highlight is the staff; everyone I interacted with from cleaning staff, the kitchen, and especially the front desk went above and beyond to make this an amazing trip. I can not recommend this place enough.

Amazing lodge with the most friendly and helpful staff!

“Private, incredibly clean, relaxing after activities”

We absolutely loved our 6 day stay. The lodge is quaint and only about 10 minutes from the center. We were incredibly well taken care of, from suggestions on what to do when we arrived, to packed breakfast when we had early tours. The room was impecable too! Would definitely recommend this lodge! Also, we were happy we had a car (4x4 is recommended if you want to do some sites without a tour). Highly recommend renting a car and have the flexibility of moving around instead of paying for every tour.
