“Great, quiet, clean place with fantastic hosts at a good location - strongly recommended!”

Hosts Alejandra and Fernando were fantastic and super helpful (thanks for allowing us to check in early and for help with the safe, Fernando!)! Us not speaking Spanish was nicely tackled using translator apps. Room was not big, but very clean and functional and with a good bed. Nice place to sit outside. Abundant breakfast. Good, quiet location, less than 15 minutes from the busy center of town. Some grocery shops around the corner. Tours picked us up at the hostal (much appreciated the breakfast snacks we got for the day we left very early!). Good, stable internet. Nice, friendly atmosphere. Very good value for money; strongly recommended!

The location us perfect. 10 min walking from Caracoles street. Fernando (staff) is very kind and proactive offering his service.

The room is ok, the host was helpful for questions.

Despite the fact the personnel was not speaking english, and us not spanish, Fernando was always available and friendly. The place is a bit out of the center but has the great advantage to be really calm. The breakfast is simple, but good, and really appreciate before an adventurous day. The room is simple, but clean and made everyday. We had a great time there and will be happy to come back

The hosts were amazing! Fernando was always ready to help, made breakfast or a snack for on the go when we had to leave before breakfast for a tour.

The whole this was just brilliant. My boyfriend and I were very ill when staying here and the team working looked after us so well. They cleaned our room, organised transport to hospital, cooked us food and were so caring. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were as comfortable as possible.

The owner was very helpful and lovely when I had a problem. The manager guy was seemingly irritated by me,

Perfect hot shower (important in a desert with water shortage). Triple room spacious enough but for two people. Impeccable cleaning. Simple but carefully prepared breakfast. Mini-market nearby for small needs. That said, Hostal Solor is an excellent choice if you want to stay in a quiet place, close to the bus station but only 10 minutes walk from the center.

The staff super nice and helpful Because of double booking they couldnt give is a double room instead they gave us a complete flat which supposed to be more expensive, but we paid nothing extra.

Alejandra was a thoughtful and caring host. Located a few minutes walk from the main street in a no-through road, it is super quiet at night. The room itself was extremely comfortable.

“The right option in San Pedro”

Hostal Solor was the best option for what we wanted in San Pedro. As a couple, we wanted a cozy place a bit outside of the main street, but in a walkable distance, with easy acces for the roads and attractions. We got it. As we arrived, Fernando welcomed us with all the necessary information and we felt great since the beginning. Thanks, Fernando! Neighborhood is a find: there is an excellent simple family run restaurant in the same block, with tasty food and fair prices, and we had lunch there when we arrived and in the following days. There are also several conveniences for food and drinks, plus it is close to the bus station. The room is simple and small, but we had everything necessary, including a good table for working, a fan and a spacious closet. Extremely clean bathroom, sheets and towels were also available. Alejandra, the owner, was always worried about our health (sunblock, dry air, altitude etc.) and always willing to give us the best tips and information. There is a cozy external area which we enjoyed for having a glass of wine and empanadas. Breakfast was complete, tasty and generous, nothing wrong about it as I had read before in some other reviews. I totally recommend the place as a heavy booking user.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Tehy did not speak English, but using our phones for translation, we had great communication. The hostal is nice and cosy. We had an apartment, not a room.

“Great place”

The caretaker was the cherry on top of the place. He was the one cleaning, cooking and doing all the little chores at the hostel. Very welcoming and reliable. He was there to assist for any query.
