Nice peaceful hostel close to town, staff very helpful, comfortable 4 bed dorms and great views from kitchen and common area over looking the Licancabur volcano. Highly recommend. 🇦🇺

A toast to the lovely and patient girls, Cecilia and Lizeth, at Hostal Lackuntur. We had quite some issues with JetSmart (believe me it is Not smart to fly with them) and so our arrival was postponed several times within one day with us finally checking in just before 11PM. But we were ensured all day that there would be someone waiting and that all is fine and such was exactly the case. We had a lovely stay at Hostal Lackuntur and all our requests (e.g. different pillow) were greeted and handled with a bright and honest smile. Communication via translator also worked perfectly and with lots of laughs. We had tours every single day so we were not really able to enjoy the pool, but it looks all perfect. Plenty of chairs and space. Also the community room is very nice.

I had asked if I could do a late check out and it was good. But when I came back from my tour the people from the hostel had touched my stuff.

The public area is comfy and chill. The hanging bed was really nice and giving the vibe. We had checked out already. However, our pick up to the airport was 17:00. We were still allow to stay and chill at the public area.

The friendliest staff of any place we visited in South America, this hostel was an absolute gem. Our room was cute, comfortable and very affordable. The hostel was very responsive to our messages (including changing flight details at the last minute). The kitchen and terrace with a desert view was an added bonus.

The hostel is very close to the center and the room was very clean and comfortable. The pool area is great to relax after a long day or to escape the heat. The kitchen was very clean and has great views of the volcano. Lizeth is really lovely and helps with all the questions one might have. The hostel exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay again!

Lovely accommodation. Great shared spaces. Staff really friendly and helpful. Rooms are simple but clean with comfy beds.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There is a great kitchen so you can make breakfast and light lunch yourself. There are comfortable chairs to hang around near the pool, the swimming pool is small so to be honest it is not really for swimming. But as a hostel in a desert area, it is very good value for money.

Room and facilities were good. Staff (Lizeth) was very friendly and helpful.

Welcome by Lizbeth! Calm location with everything within 10min of the city center. The pool and shared kitchen. The cleanliness of the place over all (thanks to the cleaning team).

The hostel was in a great location - close to town but a quiet place to sleep at night. They cleaned our room every day, which was a lovely touch. The outside area of the hostel is a nice place to relax after a long day out.
