Lovely host who is super friendly and helpful. I liked the location being a little out of town. Showers had hot water and good pressure. Would highly recommend!

Amazingly kind staff, wonderful stay, spotless clean. Open kitchen and free water, coffee and tea as you please. Bedrooms are cleaned every day if you wish. Nice common area to chat with another guests and wait for the tours. A place where you feel welcomed and like home.

Great accommodation just outside the main town of San Pedro making it highly accessible for all activities and all restaurants/shops. Clean, comfortable rooms with an excellent shower and great facilities for cooking, laundry and making tea/coffee. Really nice staff who make you feel at home, we had a fantastic stay with them and would recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting!

“A Relaxing and Friendly Stay in San Pedro de Atacama”

We had a lovely stay at Hostal Desert, mainly thanks to the warmth and kindness of the hosts. It's at around a 10-minute walk from downtown San Pedro, and the atmosphere of the hostal is relaxing, making it a great place to rest after exploring San Pedro de Atacama and its surroundings. The hostal has a 24-hour open kitchen, very well equipped, with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and water available at all times, which was a really nice touch and made us feel at home. We truly appreciated the personal and caring attention, and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a friendly and comfortable stay.

A gem of a place. The staff couldn’t be more accommodating. I have never stayed in hostels before this trip and having a private room and bathroom but the use of kitchen was such a plus for me.

A lovely room and bathroom. Kitchen facilities were good and included drinking water. Breakfast was lovely and they made up a packed breakfast on the morning of departure.

Amazing Accomodation in San Pedro! We were staying for 6 Nights and loved our stay. The Staff is so friendly and welcoming, the Kitchen is very well equiped and offers everything you need. There is also a few restaurants and shops to buy groceries. Thank you so much, Susanne & Theresa

“Absolutely loved this hostel!”

I decided to book this hostel based on it's rating and reviews and I wasn't disappointed. From the start Angelica was very easy to communicate with. She was very helpful, caring and provided all the information I needed. The room and communal areas were really clean, comfortable and had great facilities. Norma, who looks after breakfast, was sooo lovely and thoughtful, I enjoyed chatting with her. Despite travelling alone I felt really well looked after particularly when I didn't feel so well with the altitude. I would return in heartbeat!
