Very nice hostel, very clean and well-equipped. Excellent price for what you get. Perfectly located outside of the downtown part of San Pedro de Atacama - allows for easy access to shops and tours while maintaining a calm and peaceful atmosphere.

Great location and only 10 min walk into the centre and right next to bus stop. Rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable, and warm showers. Outdoor space is very relaxing and quiet and lots of seating. Great shared kitchen.

Great stay. Very kind host, nice and clean rooms, small kitchen and a small patio to relax. Good location near the town and easy to reach. We were even allowed to park our car inside the gate, which was a nice plus. Great value for money

The place is value for money, excellent for budget travellers. The kitchen is adequately stocked for cooking meals. Esther was helpful and friendly They cleaned the room once every other day, changed the sheets and towels as well. Everything was extremely clean and they made sure to keep the place tidy.

rooms newly renovated. very clean and comfortable. seemed to be well insulated. a short walk to the town (8 mins). there’s a decent restaurant a few meters away. good location in the edge of town so it was fairly quiet. also 2 mins from the bus terminal. nice sunset view from the courtyard

Owner was very kind and welcoming. She let us store our luggage while we went to Uyuni for 4 days. The rooms and shared bathrooms were very clean. Would definitely stay here again!

Esther was an amazing host and her place is only a 1 minute walk from the bus stop. The property feels very new and is exceptionally clean. There are good cooking facilities and a nice area to chill outside of the rooms.

Mary was very welcoming, the room and the whole hospedaje were quite clean and nicely decorated. It was also super useful to be able to use the kitchen - can definitely recommend! The city center was also within 10 min of walking distance

“Best place to stay in Atacama”

I absolutely loved my stay at Casa Dorada. I arrived in Atacama tired after travelling from Bolivia, but the moment I walked into the accommodation I felt relieved. It was quiet, peaceful and the shaded patio immediately gave me a sense of calm. The rooms are spacious, with plenty of storage, the bed is super comfortable, the bathrooms are spotless and very close to the rooms and the kitchen is really handy. The location is also great: it’s in a quieter area than Caracoles Street (which I actually preferred!), very safe and just an ~8-minute walk to the centre of Atacama. Super convenient. Ester and her sister are incredibly kind and helpful. On the day of my check-out, I went for a bike ride and left my luggage there. When I came back, they asked if I wanted to take a shower and immediately offered me a clean towel at no extra cost. This place is a 10/10 and was without a doubt one of the highlights of my weekend in Atacama.

Location good in the sense that it was less than a 5 minute walk from the bus terminal. Nice enough room. Useful to have access to a small kitchen.

Really friendly and helpful hosts, did our laundry very cheaply and helped answer any questions we had. Place is fairly basic but good value for money and has a fully functioning kitchen. Location is a short walk to town
