“Too expensive for the location.”
The air conditioning units outside are located directly under the bedroom, so there is a lot of noise all night! No beach for swimming within a 10 miles radius. No privacy on the balcony!

“Great place to stay in Belize”

“GREAT VALUE, ATTENTIVE AND FRIENDLY STAFF!”
The location of The Palapa house suited us very nicely. We are divers. It is located on the seafront across from one of the best dive centres in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. Also, the busy part of town (including restaurants, the water taxi depot and the airport) is easy to access both on foot and by golf cart from this location.

“Excelent hotel, great room, very bad beach do not come for beach-holiday”
The staff is very very sweet and helpful, the room is great, and the AC is so good. Wi-Fi is excellent. Balcony was very nice. Even though the pool is small we had it all to our selfs.

Perfect location, right on the beach. The check in experience was excellent, all self service and easy to do with clear instructions. The kitchen was well equipped, the apartment was spacious and the balcony an excellent place to sit and have a quiet drink listening to the sea.

“We chose right when we selected The Palapa House.”
Location—far enough from the town centre to be out of the fray. Grocery store around the corner, great food, drinks and entertainment pretty much at our doorstep. Orlando and Clarene were amazing staff! The room was just great for our needs. We weren’t looking for a large fancy and impersonal resort. The Palapa House was our cheerful spot.

“Excellent stay”
The Palapa House was located right in front of the beach with very well equipped apartments. Especially the kitchen equipment and the amount of towels were amazing. The staff was super friendly and we had an excellent stay.
