“A good choice if you can live with construction noise.”
A stone throw away from the water edge, this place is well located for a stroll along the beach, on one side, and the busy road with shops, supermarkets, the airportand the water taxi terminal. We did a week of diving using the 5 star PADI centre, at the end of the Pier, 50 m away. The dive in - dive out is equivalent to the ski in - ski out concept. You need to understand there is nothing about yachts or yachting, nor this is a hotel. Rather, a condominium in wish owners have a unit to rent out, thus the contents, arrangement and quality of what's on offer varies from unit to unit. A nice touch was a jar of coffee that served us quite nicely for our stay.

“Great choice, but....”
Isla Bonita Yacht Club was a really good choice for us (family of six in three units). The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Ditto the pool - clean and refreshing. It was only a 10 - 15 minute pleasant walk along the foreshore to downtown San Pedro. The thing to keep in mind however, is that each suite is privately owned and the owner may or may not choose to put it in the rental pool. This means that there is no consistency among the suites as there would be in a privately owned hotel. Some suites are really well maintained and updated while others are not.

We had the best Appartement overlooking the ocean. It was really clean, quiet and super cozy.

“Fabulous room in a great location”
Fabulous room with large beds, a small well equipped kitchen area, sitting area and large balcony with comfortable seats. The resort has a lovely pool with chairs and beautifully maintained gardens and direct access to the waterside promenade taking you to a huge choice of restaurants and bars in San Pedro. Great Location close to the Water Taxi terminal and the resort has a pier with steps into the sea for sea swimming. We would recommend this resort but be aware that it is rooms only and no restaurant or bar on site.

“Best place to stay on Ambergris”
It was so lovely and clean and we had a lovely view from our balcony on 1B. Cool snorkeling right off the dock there and lovely restaurants on walking distance. Our dive company right there on the dock.too. Golf cart parking in the alley in the shade. Fantastic place to stay.

“A great and relaxing stay on the sea!”
We loved our stay at Isla Bonita! It was really peaceful, quiet, right on the sea and the staff was really helpful with any of our questions. It is a little outside of the main downtown but still easily walkable in 20 minutes or even quicker if you rent a golf cart. Plus, there are some nice breakfast and dinner spots nearby. We would definitely recommend it and stay here again next time we are in Belize.

“Comfort and character”
Charming relaxed resort with orange roofs and green garden on the waterfront. Much more character than some of the modern high-rise hotels. Close to supermarkets and a short walk from downtown. Staff is really taking good care of the place. Waterfront unit 21a is somewhat tired but everything works and the kitchen is well equipped. Comfortable bed. Great air-conditioning and good WiFi.
