“Perfecto location”
The location. And the helpful staff. Upon checking in, I was allocated a room that had a very noisy air conditioning system. The receptionist was very obliging and gave me a choice of three other rooms from which I selected one and moved to with no additional cost. The breakfast room was friendly (I met a couple of Argentinians and had conversations) and the breakfast offer ok to get me going for the day.

Excellent location for the main square, things to do and places to eat. Staff friendly and helpful. Big bed and good-sized room. Breakfast buffet in the on-site restaurant was ok. Great value for money stay

Everything what a hotel need. I guess for the standards on those days some parts must be renovated for example heater, tv with netflix, hairdryer (i dont use it but for 3* hotel should be basic). At the end depends on everyones belongings.

“A bad experience not to repeat ¡”
The problem with this hatel was that a sign on the closed door informed clients that it was CERRADO for works. One was instructed to go to Hotel Carlos V near the main square of San Miguel de Tucuman, where indeed all the booking.com information about my stay was available, at a slightly higher price than what I had booked for. Question: why was no advance notice about this situation given ¿

“A couple of days before my arrival they told me there were works and the hotel would not be open.”
They went to the effort of telephoning me to tell me the hotel would be closed !! Luckily they kept trying as initially I did not answer my phone. I was rebooked to the nearby Carlos V and that went smoothly.
