What a beautiful place? A real oasis right next to the old city and full of charm and history. Surprisingly quiet too (mind you it was fairly empty I suspect more door noise if full). And this is a beautiful town to explore.

The garden was very large and beautiful.The parking lot is very large and covered, so it's reassuring. They also held our car and luggage before and after check-in, which was a great help.

“Value for money accomodation in San Miguel de Allende”

I travelled to San Miguel de Allende with my mother, where we found the Posada to represent exceptional value for money, particularly in terms of accommodation quality and on-site amenities. While certain ancillary services—specifically the laundry service, which is not included and charged separately—are comparatively expensive, and the hotel restaurant is also priced at a premium (for which reason we chose not to dine there), these costs do not detract from the overall excellence of the stay. One may reasonably infer that the cuisine is of a very high standard. What truly distinguishes the Posada is the remarkable balance between price and quality: the room rates, the comfort of the stay, the amenities provided, the meticulous daily cleaning, and—above all—the consistently professional and attentive staff combine to create an experience that is both refined and outstandingly good value.

Loved the view outside window of courtyard, bell tower, bird song… eating breakfast on the patio. Man at the desk was very helpful with a map and directions to next location.

The Posada de la Aldea is most definitely not a 4 star hotel. It has seen its best days. It is clean, and well located, and staff is friendly. Breakfast doesn't start until 8 am and the best they can do until the restaurant opens is powdered coffee. It can get chilly at night, there is no heating. The pool was closed for repairs (no mention of this on the Booking site) and the gym is cramped, a bit sleazy and not open on Sundays. There are many many other beautiful places to stay in San Miguel de Allende. I would not stay here again.

Beautiful location and grounds

Lovely atmospheric hotel very close to the centre with a parking (not easy to find in San Miguel). Very beautiful grounds that made our children happy and us assured that they are safe outside. Attentive and unintrusive staff. Good quality hot water shower (again, not a given in Mexico, even in good hotels). Decent wi-fi. Comfortable beds.
