“Lovely hotel with a beautiful view!”

My husband and I stayed in Casita Colibri. We loved the design and decor and the balcony with the fountain. Beautiful ambience. The roof deck has an amazing view, and it's set up nicely with comfortable places to sit and enjoy the view. Rocky and Gwen are friendly and very helpful with travel arrangements and recommendations for restaurants and things to do. They go out of their way to make your experience positive. It's a beautiful little hotel and a lovely place to stay. We highly recommend.

We loved having a private casita, a private terrace and access to the roof top deck. Breakfast was your choice preordered and delivered to your casita. Full kitchen if needed. Rocky and Gwen were great hosts! We will be back!

“10+! We couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to stay in SMA!”

The furnishings and decor are absolutely beautiful and traditional but more importantly, comfy. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, right down to the lighted makeup mirror and variety of wines for purchase so we didn’t have to venture out . Breakfast was perfect! The quiche and banana bread were fresh and tasty! And the views from the rooftop patio were amazing! You can see the whole valley, which was perfect for morning coffee and evening happy hour! Rocky and Gwen were so accommodating with our morning arrival time and also helpful with suggestions for venturing out and eating- all of which were spot on! We would definitely return to Las Terazzas!

The owners are very friendly and detail oriented. The property and rooms are immaculate. The included breakfasts varied each day and numerous selections were offered. All in, we had a very enjoyable stay and thank hosts Rocky and Gwen for their personal efforts to make our stay the best!

“Superb!”

The owner is a "retired" Oregonian who has turned a dream of a house on the most beautiful hill of San Miguel de Allende into a paradise hotel. The beauty of the place alone is worth the stay. INternet was superb, but because I work with it, he was kind to provide me with a second service just in case this one went down (it did not!). Breakfast was fabulous, the room had absolutely everything one needs including a private chimney. The walk to town is amazing (a few blocks) and as it is on a hill, it provides a good exercise (I am 72!). The owner and his wife, of course, speaks perfect English and Americans will feel right at home. Even the TV was set up with the US channels. Pretty amazing!

Everything was perfect! The room was gorgeous and we had so much room. The staff was very friendly and the owner was so accommodating and helpful. The location was very central and the views were spectacular. 1000% recommended.

It was quiet, but still close enough to easily walk into the center or to a restaurant. It's easy and cheap enough to get a taxi if you don't want to walk. We enjoyed having breakfast brought to us. It's a beautiful property and our casita was very comfortable. Also, the owner was always available to help us with whatever we needed, including a ride to and from the airport. I thought it was pretty much the perfect place to stay in San Miguel!

Gwen and Rocky have perfect place to stay! They are very kind and willing to help with any questions that you may have. We lived in Casa Colibry and it has everything that you need - fireplace, kitchen, balcony with small fountain, very comfortable bed, hairdryer, medical kid - honestly everything! And the most impressive - they have very big common terrace with marvellous view 😍 This place is amazing inside and has very good location - a little bit hard to go back from the centre (quite high hills) but you can take a taxi. Rocky helped us also with parking place. So if we will come back to SMA - we’ll stay only in this perfect place

The place is beautiful, but what makes it special is that the owners deeply care for their guests. Rocky and Gwen went out of their way to help us find the best excursion tours, private car service, what to see in San Miguel and even the most reliable Covid Tests necessary to return to Canada.

Location, the view, the hosts, breakfast....all of it. Theres nothing not to like. Rockie and Gwen claim they never did hospitality before...well, they are natural at it. They hosted us in casita grillo 2 and it was amazing. Gwen baked us her world famous banana bread and made us burritos. This place works for both leisure or long term rental...Im actually thinking on moving in there ;) I cant thank them enough for opening their home to guests and make us all feel welcome. Rickie Gwen, you are an absolute delight. Thank you again for being available!

Rocky & Gwen are the best host I've ever met. Their property is incredible, very warming and it is a 10 minute walk to downtown wich everytime you do it you enjoy it. Thanks for the very warm welcome and hosting us.
