“A perfect choice for any low budget traveler!”
It was my second time at La Catrina Hostel. It’s’ an excellent choice for any low budget traveler…just a few walking minutes to El Jardin Allende in the city center, very friendly staff, good continental breakfast, a quiet and very clean place. Special thanks to Alexis at the reception. He is an amazing friendly and helpful person. I’ll definitely stay at La Catrina Hostel again the next time I’m in San Miguel de Allende!

Kitchen facilities are amazing. Anything you could ever want in a kitchen they have. Showers and restrooms are great. Hot water, clean and spacious. They provide you with a free towel which is always a plus. Free breakfast is a nice touch however it’s nothing special

“Great location; a well run hostel.”
A great location. Staff were very cordial and provided us with services we needed. Appreciated being able to use the kitchen to make tea, salad etc. Our room on the top floor was comfortable and very quiet (also due to low occupancy). The roof top terrace was great for the sunset and doing yoga!

“A great Hostel perfect located”
I had a pleasant stay at La Catrina Hostel which is perfect located. In a short walking distance to Jardin Allende, but far enough from the noise of the many celebrations with the daily fireworks. Booked it for only one night and extended my stay for four more nights. There was a management change during my stay and after that many things, especially the breakfast changed to a better way. My room was well equipped, the bed had a comfortable mattress and everything was very clean, also the shared bathroom.

My first "hostel" experience and I enjoyed it. The room was cosy and the location was perfect, right in the center so I was about five minutes from all the festivities taking place. The complimentary breakfast was lovely.
