This is the first 10 I have given. I have been in some premises that are equally nice, but the exceptional score is thanks to the host, Guiseppe. The premises are excellent, character Sicilian farmhouse, large area rooms, with grand views. All the facilities work, and are clean The working farm around the property is owned by Guiseppes cousin. There is a long road to the property, rough in places, but our Fiat Panda was fine, though I took it slowly. Guiseppe is local, he is warm, welcoming and very keen to look after his guests. We ate with 8 other guests in the large dining room, log fire at one end of the room. Delicious food, then a gaze at the stars. No light pollution. The next day the other guests left, so we ate supper and drank with Guiseppe in his kitchen, just the three of us. The house is about 35mins from Cefalu, another hour to Palermo. Great value for money, and we'd happily go back.

We had an amazing stay at the antico borgo! The location is amazing, very beautiful, surrounded by the Sicilian hills and the peaceful countryside. Giuseppe is a great host, he made us feel very welcome and at home. Thank you so much for everything!

If you enjoy being surrounded by nature and breathing in fresh, crisp air, this place is ideal for your weekend getaway. The host’s hospitality was exceptional, and we are incredibly grateful for the wonderful dinner he prepared for us, using ingredients freshly picked from his garden to serve the four of us. We also appreciated the delicious breakfast he thoughtfully prepared. The room was clean and spacious, adding to the comfort of the experience.

“Hospitality at the highest level”
During our visit to Giuseppe, we felt less like we were staying at a hotel and more like we were visiting family. The host took care of us from the very beginning. We were welcomed with a delicious dinner with wine and music. The place is beautifully restored. Nothing is accidental there, each element is perfectly matched to the character of Antico Borgo. Giuseppe! Thank you for a wonderful experience of Sicilian hospitality!

It's an 11, not a 10! Giuseppe and his friends made sure we had a memorable stay. If you are looking for an authentic Sicilian experience with wonderful people, food and atmosphere, you must go there! Do not be afraid of the road to get there, it is really worth it...

“A little dream”
Simply everything. The road there is a bit adventurous but beautiful. We received a warm welcome. Our apartment was perfect and the pool is great. We went to the zipline which is very close and in the evening there was a little fiesta. An exceptional experience with great people. I really loved it and and would like to come back. Thank you for everything, you are fantastic!
