We enjoyed our stay at the hotel; the place is pleasant and well maintained. Erika at the front desk was exceptional – very helpful, spoke good English, and assisted us a lot with everything we needed, especially given the language barrier.

“Brief, Comfortable and (Mostly) Enjoyable One Night Stand”

We stayed in twin queen-bed room 4 on the first floor overlooking the restaurant. The room was fine with effective, quiet aircon and all the items you need. There was a birthday party taking place in the restaurant in the late afternoon, early evening which included a mariachi band. It was slightly noisy but not an imposition; being quite fun. It didn't interrupt our brief time at the hotel. We dined at the Italian restaurant having the best pizza we'd experienced in our 3 weeks in Costa Rica. The pool and pool bar look good and the whole area is very effectively lit at night. The reason for staying here was to be relatively close to SJO for our late afternoon flight out, being around an hour's drive. This worked well. I think the hotel can arrange transport to SJO and possibly transport from SJO.

Nice location near the river. Enjoyed the privacy. Super swimming pool. Nice staff. Good restaurant. Room was very simple but comfortable. The only negative aspect was the smell from the shower drain.

Very friendly staff. The receptionist made all the effort to make our stay pleasant. The restaurant (Italian) had a good quality and a lot of costaricains go there to eat, which is a garant for good quality. The infrastructure is very clean and has a lot of space.

We had one night. We arrived after a long travel, no electricity. So no airco. We think a resort like this should have a generator

The hotel itself is really nice and modern, the pool and jacuzzi were great and the Italian restaurant just amazing. Breakfast was very good, we tried the American version.

Beautiful location with a lot of nature, comfortable rooms with good bed, airco and bathroom. Pleasant restaurant at the premesis.

Although the hotel is just a few minutes drive for Orotina, it feels like you are in a garden oasis. The grounds are beautiful and well kept - lots of flowers and lush plants. The hotel borders a lovely river which you can access through a gate in the hotel gardens. We ate dinner at the hotel - good Italian food with large portions. We really enjoyed the breakfast. We all had the traditional Tico breakfast - very good. All the fruit and veg was incredibly fresh. We stayed in the double bed rooms in a separate building from the dining area. The beds were very comfortable, the air-conditioning worked great and the room was very clean. We travel to Costa Rica frequently and often stay in Central Valley before going on to other destinations. We will definitely be back - and for more than 1 night next time.

“Pleasant stay”

Staff was attentive, the room was very comfortable. We stopped here between the beach and Volcan Arenal and we’re so happy we did. The river was a great place to spend the morning and part of the afternoon. Then we enjoyed the pool, animals and small park since we had small children. Wifi works well and we loved having access to Netflix!
