Overview
Set only 150 metres from the Tognola ski slopes and less than 10 minutes’ walk from San Martino Di Castrozza city centre, Hotel Europa offers free hiking tours, a winter ski bus and an entertainment programme for children. The Europa’s rooms come with a flat-screen TV, safe and carpeted floors. Bathroom facilities include a hairdryer and free toiletries. Some rooms have a balcony and some overlook the mountains or the street. Offering sweet and savoury food, a buffet breakfast includes handmade cakes, brioches, pies, marmalade, fruit salad, cold cuts and cheese. Hot drinks are available from the coffee machine. Open daily, the restaurant features local specialities with a choice of 3 main and 3 second courses, which are accompanied by a vegetable buffet at dinner. The bar is open exclusively for the hotel’s guests. You can relax in the garden equipped with tables, chairs and sun loungers. Hiking tours are organised 5 times a week and evening entertainment is provided. On Sundays, ski classes take place at the hotel. For children, a special programme is provided in both summer and winter. The city of Bozen can be reached in 1 hour by car. WiFi access and on-site outdoor parking are free of charge, while garage parking is available upon request.

Warm and comfortable and very good breakfast. Ideal for Tognola lift where you can leave your boots and skis. Town is lovely worth a few days rest and get away. Staff were lovely.

“Optimal location, basic hotel, not good food”
The hotel is overall okay, good location if you're planning to go skiing on the Tognala, as the ski lift is approximately 200m from the hotel. The city centre is also about 10-15 min by walk, so easy to reach without having to move the car. The decor is a little outdated. The rooms are basics but comfortable. The view from the balcony is stunning, really worth making sure to book the mountain view.

Nice jackuzzi, Breakfast with old bread, no much to choose from (regarding "salty" breakfast), on the other hand sweet breakfast was nice. Recommendation/cooperation with dinner restaurant in town.

“Next to Alpe Tognola Ski Lift”
The room was small and simple. However, it had a magnificent view of the nearby forest and dramatic Dolomiti cliffs. Breakfast was included which was nice.

“The perfect painting view”
The view from our room was amazing. Spent our mornings in bed enjoying the mountain view through our balcony window/ door and listening to the river beneath. Just perfect, couldn't ask for more. To top it up it also snowed like in a fairytale and everything was white. The staff was great, good entartainment, nice food, saunas were brilliant after a day of skying.

“Cozy, relaxing and welcoming atmosphere”
I have never felt so dear anywhere else, and I've traveled a lot! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the breakfast was well served (they have the best brioche I ever tried) and their Well-being space is another level: there is a "cold mist" and "tropical rain" shower in the sauna area with aroma & light therapy that amazed myself and my husband, and the Jacuzzi outside with a view to the Alps... These were the best things after a day full of skiing (there's a ski area just a few steps away, very convenient). Also the atmosphere of the place is cozy and welcoming, the bar area made me feel like I was in a movie, the Alpine experience I wished for! I'd definitely come back!
