“Wonderful place”

Beautiful lodge located in the middle of the forest and lake hermoso. The place in itself is an experience. Cozy house and rooms. Amazing restaurant, they were really kind to let us have dinner in spite of our late arrival, a delicious ojo de bife and a fine wine. Breakfast was wonderful, overlooking the lake. It definitely worths staying.

The lodge was beautiful, and the views amazing. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a lovely hot shower overlooking the countryside. Loved it here and didn’t want to leave!!

“Beautiful views, excellent food, loved being so close to the lake”

Views were amazing, the property itself is beautiful and very well built. It's a very calm and quiet setting. We went down to the lake to the private 'beach' for a swim before dinner, and we took the kayaks out the next day for free. The dinner in the evening was delicious and the hosts were so helpful and kind, cannot say enough positive things about the Hermoso Eco Lodge! Our favourite hotel we stayed at in Argentina.

The setting is idyllic. The wood architecture ideally appropriate to the setting. The staff unfailingly kind and helpful. The dinner was superb: not just delicious and well prepared but also exquisitely balanced. The breakfast is as generous as it is delicious.

Extremely nicely located, extremely nice and friendly personell, excellent hospitality, comfort, and ambiance, with a very personal touch. I loved it from the first to the last second I stayed there. Best dinner and best breakfast of all the places I stayed in Argentina, and overall I rank it #2 in my personal all-time-favorite-places-to-stay. Thank you, I will come back." So, I have come back, and it was absolutely great again! In one aspect it got even better: internet-access got very very fast by now.

Wonderful place in the middle of nature. The house feels so cosy with a unique view on the lake. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel at home. Unique experience!

“A hidden gem by the Hermoso lake”

The Hermoso Eco Lodge is nested deep within a lush forest, overlooking the Hermoso lake - the common room offers a breathtaking view of said lake, and it's particularly pleasant a spectacle when having one's breakfast or dinner, or simply enjoying a cup of tea on the terrace. The meals are of high quality, varied, tasteful and not too big (something which is often the case in Argentina). The personnel have all been lovely, and very helpful when it came to carrying the luggage from the parking lot up to the lodge itself. The situation is ideal (if you don't mind driving along narrow, unpaved paths), close to the RN40 and to a small beach complete with a lovely little waterfall.

Absolutely one of my favourite hotels in Argentina. Loved the location, the food, the people. Very friendly and homely atmosphere, both with the staff and the other guests.

While touring Argentina for about a month I got the impression that the accomodation ratings at booking were a little inflated overall. With a single exception: Hermoso Lodge. It had a 9.7 when I booked it. But seriously, it deserves to be rated 11. What a fantastic place. “Best hotel and food on our Argentine trip”

This was a top hotel, expected great, got exceptional. This hotel is on a very nice lake, almost without any other people. The personal is exceptional, everybody very nice and competent. Dinner was incredibly good.
