Very nice guesthouse close to San Martin de los Andes. The property is built and furnished in the 1970s style, but really tasteful and very well maintained. Very warm welcome. We wish we could have stayed longer! An excellent place to stay when exploring the region. Meals (breakfast and dinner) were very good as well. This was among the top properties of our one-month travel through Argentina which saw us stay in 16 hotels/lodges/guesthouses in total.

Everything was perfect! It's a beautiful place with a stunning view and very well decorated lobby. We felt like at home. And the staff was very lovely. I highly recommend to have a dinner and try their great wine list, the food is excellent and the view on the mountain very romantic. There is also a heated swimming pool and sauna.

Staying here was like staying with family. Lili was so kind and helpful and fun to talk to. Breakfast was so nice. Everything was prepared fresh based on what you ordered. Breakfast and all rooms face the beautiful mountains. Simply amazing!

The room and all of its surrounding was amazing. the owners were charming and let us feel comfort all the visit. we liked to talk with them and they are very welcoming and friendly. I like the vintage style in this hotel, every item was picked carefully and I could sense the thought behind any book, sculpture, vase etc'... will recommend anyone of my friends and family !!

Everything! Beautiful property and in beautiful serene surroundings. Lili and Fernando are wonderful hosts and clearly take much pride in their business and in providing hospitality. The pool was an added bonus as were Lola and Luna the well behaved dogs. The views are amazing and the indoor spaces for relaxing are also beautiful. We ate in one night and it was delicious and very reasonable. The breakfasts are also great with home baked goods. All in all a fabulous experience and we would love to return.

Great view from the property and the owners were very friendly and attentive. Just 9 rooms so very exclusive. You need a car to get here. Property is very clean comfortable and well maintained Great showers and hot water and heating. Breakfast is delicious and fresh.

We had a wonderful time and would recommend Casona Del Alto to anyone. Without a doubt the best place we stayed during our trip to Argentina.
