Overview
Hotel Cesare is an elegant hotel boasting bright interiors and a sophisticated atmosphere. Set in a pedestrian-only area within the historic walls of San Marino, it is 20 metres from public parking in Piazzale Cava Antica. Rooms are tastefully decorated in vibrant colours and have parquet floors. Each offers free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and SKY TV with international channels. Rooms overlook the historic centre, the Tower of San Marino, or the valley. The buffet breakfast includes cakes, homemade tarts, cold cuts and boiled eggs. Cesare Hotel features an impressive glass façade, a terrace, and landscaped gardens. Staff here can provide a short guide of the historic centre, as well as discount cards to some of the castles, museums and shops. You can easily walk to Palazzo Pergami, the 3 towers, and the gallery of Saint Francis. Rimini and the Adriatic Sea are a 30-minute drive away.

Good location but hard to get there from the bus stop. Very hard to get a taxi from bus stop to the hotel. Although the hotel is a walking distance from the bus stop, but, since it is located on the top of the hill, without of a car is very difficult to get there with a luggage.

Lovely hotel in a great location that is central to many parts of San Marino. Very comfortable room, good breakfast choices. We enjoyed a very tasty dinner in the restaurant.

“Scenic stay at the top of the world!”
The setting is amazing- the views from our room were incredible! Although it’s a hike up, everything is accessible from the hotel! Breakfast is good but the restaurant is fabulous- one of our best meals on our travels! All staff were really helpful - would definitely recommend!

“Great location, views and close to parking”
Well located near parking and within the castle walls. Breakfast was buffet - good selection with a barista for coffee. Dinner was a show as well as a delicious meal - cooked over an open fire in the restaurant. Chef was chatty and great to watch. Rooms were quiet and well outfitted (smaller due to the age of the hotel). Well located at the high end of town with lots of dining options around + out of 'touristy clutter'. Highly recommend

“Beautiful, very elevated San Marino”
A perfect location to explore many of the nearby historical areas and enjoy some duty free shopping. Everything we needed in the rooms. Breakfast was well presented with plenty of fresh choices, teas and coffee. The staff were very responsive to our requests for additional requirements.

“Wonderfull but falls flat in important areas.”
People were wonderful. Location is petty much the best in town. The restaurant was so good we went there both nights for dinner. Food quality and wine selcction 5 star. Breakfast was very good. View from room amazing. Beds very comfortable.

“Classic old hotel in perfect location”
Fabulous location right near the entrance to the Centro Storico and such glorious views from our room overlooking the valleys and towards the snow capped mountains. A classic old school hotel with a very good restaurant serving freshly grilled steaks and chicken. Our morning receptionist was born and bred in San Marino and shared her knowledge and infectious enthusiasm for this spectacular spot.
