A welcoming retreat with impeccable hospitality Nestled in the picturesque Spanish countryside, our recent stay at this delightful property exceeded all expectations. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and wonderfully comfortable, providing a perfect haven to unwind after a long day spent travelling. What truly set this place apart was the warmth and hospitality of the owners. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel genuinely welcome, attending to every detail. Their friendly manner created a homely atmosphere that made our visit feel special. In addition, our little dog was welcomed at all times Our evening meal, cooked to our liking, was very reasonably priced. Before leaving, we were treated to a superb breakfast featuring a tempting selection of cooked food alongside continental options—catering to every palate. Whether we fancied local cheeses and cured meats or freshly baked pastries, everything was beautifully presented and delicious. Overall, this countryside retreat is ideal for travellers seeking comfort, cleanliness, and a personal touch. We left feeling refreshed and thoroughly looked after, and we have already booked to return next year. Highly recommended, and if returning to the UK by ferry, it is only 45 minutes from this property.

“A gem for an overnight stop route to somewhere.”

A beautiful building inside & out with a lovely young lady host who handily spoke some English. Lots of car parking, all very secure by the nature of this place being remote, yet less than 5 minutes from all the services you might need, and the motorway. On site cafe/bar is a real good extra, open all hours too. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, easy to eat well and be full. Dogs are welcome, even in the dining room which solves a huge conundrum for so many dog owners.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful hotel nestled among the mountains, and it was truly a refreshing experience. The location is stunning — surrounded by breathtaking views, fresh air, and an atmosphere of complete peace and quiet. It feels like the perfect escape from the noise of the city All the necessary facilities are available, from clean and spacious rooms to reliable Wi-Fi, delicious dining options, and even leisure amenities that make the stay more enjoyable. What I appreciated most was the balance: it offered modern comforts without disturbing the natural serenity of the place.

Too far away from anything. Poor breakfast. No privacy and no way to have rest. Awful soundproof and noisy wooden floor. We could hear every word from the neighbours and every step. They woke up at 6 and we could not sleep since then. Besides, they had a barking dog. Crazy situation. The room was very hot, with a tiny side window. We could breath only when managed to open the rooftop window.

What an outstanding hotel, this property is about 45 minutes from Bilbao and we had this for our last night of a weeks tour, the property has had a major refurbishment and it’s just breathtaking with the rooms being so modern but keeping in character of the original unit, attention to detail is excellent, I think it is family run and nothing was to much trouble, there is an outside bar and the menu is plentiful and no restriction to where you want to eat— inside / outside.. The views are excellent and there is horse trading in the grounds which is pleasant to watch.
