Everything, from the personal welcome on arrival to the fabulous breakfasts. The property is stunning inside and exceptionally clean. Security is excellent with card key entry through all main doors. Housekeeping was discreet and quick but always good.

“Charming Local Hotel”

The hotel was in a perfect spot in Old San Juan and within walking distance to everything. The staff was friendly and my room was cleaned everyday. I also appreciate the added security features of the hotel. I would highly recommend this place.

The hotel is beautiful, nice and a very tasteful mix of the past and the present. We felt very safe, the no outside visitors policy helps maintain a quiet and safe environment for all guests. A sole female traveller should feel very safe staying at this hotel. Breakfast was fantastic The hosts were very friendly, polite and helpful. The location is very convenient and allows you to explore Old San Juan by foot There's no elevator, so anyone with mobility challenges will have difficulty accessing the upper floors.

The location is great as anywhere else in the Old San Juan, as you’re directly into the heart of the old town. It’s an old house so has some authenticity. Breakfasts are ok.

Our stay here was lovely, the breakfast gave lots of food and drink options and the rooms were very comfortable. The rooftop was a great spot to relax. The entire old town was walkable in a short amount of time, and it's super close to a square to find scooters, taxis or Ubers. But the best bit were the hosts, one of the most genuinely welcoming places we have stayed.

The property is a beautiful period building, beautifully and sensitively converted into a guest house with original features being well complimented with modern comforts and security. I loved the door security greeting with a personal welcome. I loved the high ceilings, the decor. I loved the roof terrace area, the jacuzzi, the breakfast chef, the people that run it. I loved the sound of the rain and the way the moist outdoor warmth starts to hit you as you go from the beautifully air conditioned hallway up to the roof terrace.

Beautifully maintained colonial building with towering ceilings and a lot of original charm. Super clean with a very comfortable bed and AC for those steamy summer nights. The roof terrace is very pleasant and affords some nice views. Location is excellent for those who wish to base themselves in Old San Juan. Reception can guide you to a nearby carpark (5 mins walk) which offers a 60% discount for those with a room booking confirmation. Anyone visiting Puerto Rico who wants to explore more than just the capital, really needs to rent a car. Driving in and around town and the country on the whole is simple and safe. The rooms with a balcony were perfectly fine as far as noise goes, although I'm not bothered by a little street noise and enjoy the advantage of watching the world go by. The staff were very friendly and helpful and will tend to your needs as and when requested. Was greeted with a smile and complimentary drink. Facilities in the rooms are as listed and are standard for a hotel. The bathrooms are very clean and have great showers. Breakfast was included and was a decent meal with a decent coffee by Puerto Rican standards. Would recommend this place for those looking to treat themselves after a week or two of traversing the island. Within a few blocks walk are plenty of restaurants and bars to chose from as well, or venture east to Santurce if you're keen to explore the capitals vibrant local nightlife.

Service was incredible and personal! Rooms were very clean and property was beautiful. Roof top was. very nice and enjoyed private use of the hot tub! Location was fantastic if you want to be in old San Juan.
