mosquitos was an issue, like all of puerto rico , but there is off spray and repellents downstairs by kitchen free of use .

“Great for solo female traveler”
I loved my stay here!!!! The owner is extremely kind and generous, the volunteers are so sweet, and the hostel was perfect for making friends but also sleeping well. I stayed 9 nights as a solo female traveller and felt very safe in the area and the establishment.

“Decent place to stay in San Juan on a budget.”
Very easy to get here from Old San Juan or the airport using public transportation. The common areas were nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.

“Amazing staff, very welcoming”
Electra and Laura and all the guests and volunteers were amazing! I felt at home and the stay was very satisfying. Everyone was friendly, it was like a portorican “la familia”☺️

“Good value”
Good value for money. Easy to get buses into old town, can also walk. Safe area. Easy walk to train station. 2 large well stocked supermarkets nearby, easy walking.
