“A nice stay and a great host.”

Very very nice Lady who runs it, keeps it clean and tidy and very helpful and kind. It's a bit budget, a little old and tarnished, but clean and good service if you want/need any help. And very good location. So I really enjoyed it.

The location, the water station, the staff

Perfect location and great value for money. Staff was very nice to our big group. We had all the 3 terrance rooms to ourselves and my family enjoyed our stay

Good location, caretaker was nice and friendly, room is nice and big.

The lady tried her best to accommodate me, the location was good, the bed was OK, there were hot water in the shower

relative to the hostels in San Juan, this is a much better option. Both of the bunk beds are double beds & comfortable and the location is perfect as it's right in the center of the town. Also the WiFi worked well for us (unless the island was having power cuts). Has its own kitchen area too which was a nice bonus.

“Good stay!”

Perfect location in San Juan. The owner is very kind and welcoming. Simple rooms but as we had expected from the photos. Walking distance to great restaurants.

“Good place to stay”

Nice size room. Refillment for water inside the room. Toilettries provided. Quiet location but enought restaurants and cafeterias in the area. Right on solangon beach. Access to sister resort the Bruce and it's pool and infrastructure was handy, especially since with low tide cannot have a bath in the sea.

+ Lovely ladies running the place, always helpful and accommodating. + Very good value for the island : own bathroom and toilets, decent water pressure in shower, A/C (Filipino style), large bedroom, comfy bed + Close to beachfront and centrally located within San Juan area

“Great location, lovely host”

Located in the heart of San Juan, but quiet in the evenings. Close to bakery, supermarket, and good restaurants. Beach and food market two minutes away. Room was as described. Good a/c, clean and comfortable (but simple). No insects in the room apart from a few harmless ants by the big sink. Good water pressure (cold water only). Free drinking water. I had an accident with a moped and the lady who manages the guest house was super kind and helpful whilst I was recovering.

“Would recommend”

Extended my stay as I liked it here so much. 50 Pesos to Peliton beach, 800 to Salagdoong on a 3 wheeler. Room at the rear was very quiet (and I m a light sleeper).

“Good place”

Great little guesthouse right in the centre of San Juan, near the market. I had the room right at the back and slept very well. The caretaker is a lovely lady. Room was simple but had a/c and a little terrace with table and chairs.

1. Absolutely lovely owner. 2. Room was very spacious. 3. Good locations for bars and restaurants. 4. Hired a scooter from the owner. 5. Beds were comfy.

Dirty bathroom, dirty kitchen, very loud traffic noise. No private kitchen, unlike the description.

“Would recommend for a cheap stay”

House keeper and owner were really lovely and any problems were resolved really quickly. The owner allowed us to get in early which was a god sent to us early in the morning with a baby! There is a convenience store right opposite and a bakery next door. Lots of drivers over the road to help with trips around the island. A waterfall only a 10 min drive away.
