Breakfast was good. Atmosphere at the dining area was pleasant and homey.

The environment and the ownerd were great and very helpful and accommodating. Having Tulog beach so close was great and the wildlife you get to see right in your backyard was too good.

Typical Filipino accomodation ocean front from where you can go snorkelling just 50m from the Marine sanctuary of Tubod beach also perfect to watch the sunset, turtles also next to a few little local Filipino restaurants. Provide free snorkelling gear. Comfortable quiet room with amenities with a good hot shower. The owner also kindly gave me a lift on my check out to San Juan entrance. 🙏

“Welcoming holiday oasis!”

Thank you to all at Almare for your incredible hospitality. We really enjoyed your good company, beautiful sunsets and the fantastic snorkelling with stunning coral and variety of fish. During our stay the whole island suffered a rare power cut which lasted days. However, unlike many other properties, Almare continued to be a calm oasis. A generator was used to keep everything running, which was fantastic. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return.

The location of the property was perfect for us, quiet and with beautiful views of the gardens and the sea from our balcony and direct access to amazing snorkelling with the marine sanctuary of Tubod only 100 m away. Our snorkelling experiences were amazing, great corals, and variety of fish plus many encounters with giant turtles and huge schools of mackerel. The owner and staff at the guest house were very welcoming, and kind and went out of their way to help us. They provide free snorkelling equipment , motorbikes for rent and a lovely relaxed atmosphere which resulted in a perfect stay for us. Thank you so much Almare guesthouse !

Perfect little gem really worth its rating, in front of the ocean with a direct access to some really cool snorkeling spots! We were randomly invited in a little party the managers organized for themselves and felt very welcome. The huts are cute and the sunsets from there are stunning. It’s also close to most things to do on the south coast. +this little Frenchie puppy added a bit to the house too! :)

I'm shy so I'm sorry I couldn't get along with the guests very well. However, the facilities were clean and the ocean view was great. I had a great time in Siquijor.

We loved our stay! Location was great, and the room and facilities were lovely! You can snorkel right at the front and they supply all the equipment for free to guests! They also arranged pick up and drop off to the port and they have scooters to rent! Everything you need is here. The staff and owners are all very lovely and make you feel super welcomed! And theres a very cute puppy running around!

Lived here for 10 days - serene, beautiful place with some great snorkelling upfront and most kind & lovely hosts. They take the guests out snorkelling and also invited me to a BBQ (and pasta) they were having for their family and took us partying later. This hospitality was unlike anything I’ve experience before and truly made me feel at home in Siquijor. This is a highly recommended place for your stay! The property is conveniently located near all major tourist attractions in Siquijor and close to the city. It’s very accessible and saves a lot of travel time. They also offer motorbike rentals, which makes it easier for guests to explore their planned destinations.

The property has a nice view of the sea. It was perfect for snorkeling and to see a lot of turtles. The staff even came with us to guide us. Another good thing was that we could rent a scooter there. The location was also good and we really enjoyed our stay!

Great location, with access to ocean right of the back of the guest house, which we were so lucky to see turtles with the guidance of Kimmy, one of the staff members, we were able to lend snorkelling free of charge which was great, the guest house offers a great location for affordable restaurant and mini markets to get water and snacks.
