The location is really lovely convenient and not overly busy with tourists. The gardens is really nice and our room had both a fan and AC

We had the larger rooms in the back, so away from the street. It was therefore more quiet.

Really convenient location in San Juan - close to snorkeling area, cliff diving and beaches. Well-sized and comfortable room with a little balcony area. Beds are comfortable and the aircon is a huge help! Staff are friendly.

The room was very nice and comfortable, the staff are very friendly. The place has a restaurant, and it's an excellent location. Beautiful garden.

“Dissapointint, tired.”

The location was great! Next to a lot of nice restaurants, bars and Palaton beach. We rented the Fazzio motorcycle for 2 days, for 450 peso per day including helmets. Which was not expensive at all.

“Family run stylish jungle retreat by the beach”

Lovely interior design of the room, nice to have a porch area looking out on jungle greenery, the name is perfect for the location! Complimentary chilled mineral water on request. Spacious room with good bathroom facilities and Aircon. Quick and easy check in. Friendly staff who helped us book transport to our ferry very quickly! Would definitely recommend this!

“Great stay if you can get it at a good price”

We had a great stay for 4 nights at Jungle Guesthouse. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms themselves are modern and the location is great for all amenities and popular restaurants on the island. From the port it is 350 pesos for a tricycle and the hotel can help arrange transport back at the end of your stay. You can hire a bike for 450 pesos per day across the road next door to Marco Polo which is always great.

“Noisy, no communication or welcome but room nice enough for the price.”

No communication from staff other than giving us the key and a WhatsApp on two morning reminding us of check out time. Power cuts everyday which is out of their control however no communication about this. Next door’s generator was very very loud if you were in our room next to the restaurant. Also, the roosters are incredibly loud, bring ear plugs. Due to this the room was unbelievably hot. The location is fine, a few good restaurants around, get a scooter to get around.

“Good all round budget accommodation”

A good budget place to stay in San Jose. Rooms are clean and have all you need at this price point. It is a good choice for a couple of nights if you want to stay "in town"
