Amazing garden. All property has a very nice vibe. It is located in a quiet street, a bit further from the port but close to restaurants, shops and ATMs. Very nice host.

We spent two nights in San Juan and enjoyed our stay. The family who runs the posada were more than friendly and welcoming, including the dog. The room and shared bathroom were simple but sufficient and spotless! The rooms are situated around a small, green courtyard with beautiful flowers and the location is just a few minutes away from the main street and boat dock.

The family is super friendly and always happy to help with any questions. The garden is beautiful.

This family-owned place in San Juan La Laguna was a wonderful stay. The owners were incredibly friendly and attentive, always responding quickly to my inquiries. Their dogs are adorable! The location is excellent—within walking distance of all the main sites. They also offered laundry service, and my clothes came back smelling amazing. The room was basic, and the bathroom is shared with other rooms, though I only shared it on my last night. The beautiful garden outside the rooms added a lovely, homey touch. The rooms and the bathroom could use a bit of updating. The water temperature wasn’t very hot, but overall, it’s not a luxury stay—it’s more about comfort and a welcoming, homey feeling.

The family who runs the hotel were so friendly and helpful - helping me book the sunrise Indian Nose hike and letting me check in early. Beautiful garden to look out of from my room. A few minutes walk from main part of town but worth it

Traveled in Guatemala with my 2 daughters to celebrate my 50th birthday. Posada Woochooch is beautiful and is a safe little family hotel. It has a peaceful and beautiful garden. We loved the location, not too touristy, it was quiet but close to everything. Communication with staff was great. The family who runs the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Every day their sweet dog Rocco would welcome us. We had a shared bathroom, but everything was kept very clean so it really didn't matter. Highly recommend.

The houses house is located in a small street, set in a nice garden. The owner was nice and the dog was lovely. Its nothing exceptional but nice enough for couple of nights

Sandra and her daughter were very friendly and helpful. They gave great recommendations nearby for food and grocery shopping. They also helped organising transportation when needed. The place is clean and cosy. I would stay here again.

We had a lovely 4 nights staying at Posada Woochooch! Juan, Sandra, their family and of course Rocco ( the dog) were so friendly and kind. They made sure that we had everything we need for our stay and made us feel welcome and at home. It you are going to San Juan I would recommend staying here . nos encantó estar allí😊🙏🏻

The family who run Woochooch are so lovely (and so is their dog Rocco who gave me cuddles all the time). The place is wonderful, I felt really at home there and their garden was lovely to have a morning coffee in. They kept my suitcase while I went to a different village for a few days. Very importantly, I felt safe walking to their place from the ferry terminal (short 7 minute walk too). I was there with another solo female traveller and neither of us had issues.
