“Excellent value for the location”
Great location, easily walkable to everywhere in the town. Very clean throughout. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, based on eggs but with slight variations every day. Very safe - our room opened onto the street but it had a barred and lockable gate as well as the door.

“Fantastic Stay in San Juan del Sur”
Great hostel with a fantastic breakfast. Our room was very spacious, with A/C (that did malfunction during the night by continuously beeping), and it came with clean towels. The hostel was in a great location, right in the middle of town but it was also really quiet at night. We loved the black out windows so we could sleep in without getting disturbed by the sun. The staff were so friendly and accommodating to us changing the duration of our stay.

We loved our stay here. Right in the centre of San Juan del Sur with lots of amenities nearby. Room was spacious and comfortable with good air con. Staff were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was really hearty and delicious. Would recommend!

Good location, good breakfast, very helpful and nice stuff, small and simple hostel, but there was everything we needed for our group (5 adults, 3 kids). I can warmly recommend this place, if you are looking for a place where to relax and don’t need any luxury.

“Lovely place.”
I loved everything about Taphouse, the owner and staff were so friendly and welcoming, good outside seating area for meeting other travellers, really comfy bed, really quiet at night. All this plus an excellent breakfast and coffee.

“HIGHLY RECCOMEND”
Very comfy beds and pillows, great breakfast, great location, great AC, and absolutely incredible staff. Francella is a QUEEEN she was so lovely, always helpful and always smiling. She made my stay.

“Friendly host with great breakfast in a central location”
Lovely friendly, welcoming host in a really good central location. The room was spacious and clean. We really enjoyed our included breakfast, it was up there as one of the best we have had during our travels. Would definitely recommend this place.

“Good place”
A small hotel with friendly staff. The room has air conditioning. Quiet location. Shops and cafes nearby. The beach is about a 2-minute walk away. Recommended for stays, especially for short stays.

The breakfast was delicious, the location central, and the staff very friendly, helpful and kind. I loved my room, whihc was like a little haven of peace and coolness. I also really enjoyed the simplicity of the hostel.
