Overview
Villas Montemar is 250 metres from San José Beach, in Cabo de Gata Nature Reserve. There is a seasonal outdoor pool and views of the sea. Each apartment at Villas Montemar has a spacious private terrace, furnished with a table and chairs. All have a view of the pool or the sea. The functional air-conditioned apartments have a living room with a TV and sofa bed. There is a private bathroom, and a kitchenette with a microwave and fridge. There is a tour desk and free parking is available on site. There is easy access to the A7 Motorway, and Almeria Airport is a 40-minute drive away.

“Great view, great pool but not family frequented”
I got the upper floor studio apartment with nice view to the town and the sea. I liked very much the space on my balcony. Jose reacted promptly to every request and message I sent, although communication went only through WhatsApp. The kitchen was effective enough to cook simple meals. Clean modern bathroom and nice bedding. The pool was a nice extra after a hot day. Walking distance of 7-10 min to bus station and town Center.

“Great location and a good price.”
Friendly and welcoming host. Underground parking is perfect for motorbikes. Sea view and great location for a short walk to bars, restaurants and sea. Quiet at night. Hot shower and bathroom a decent size. Warm blankets for bed.

We really enjoyed the patio and the view. Also compared to the previous accomodation we were happy to be in a normal-size rooms :). Because we travelled in December, everything was nice, quiet, private.

“Great view, quiet nights, nice staff and I also enjoyed the Pool.”
I found my bed very comfortable. As it was very quiet, I slept very well. Someone from the reception helped me find the place and he even helped me with my luggage, as I did not arrive by car and it is a bit exhausting to make your way up there. Thanks for helping me. The view is very good and I was happy there.

“Very good value for money at a central, scenic location in San Jose”
Hotel location is very good, less than 5 minute walk to the San Jose city centre, views of the seaside from the room were fantastic. The apartment was large and had all the essentials. The air conditioning cooled the room very fast. The hotel car park in the lower floor, in the shade, was a relief. The hotel is a short drive from the controlled-access dirt track that leads to the unspoilt, scenic Genovese and Monsul beaches; here, day-entry costs €5 and capacity is limited to the size of the beach car parks.

A good apartment with all facilities, well located with great views out to sea and coastline. We enjoyed having a car park at the property.

The appartment had a lot of space, good shower and a good kitchen. The terrace in front of the appartment was great, spacious, and sunshine in the afternoon. Swimming pool was clean, water was fresh and good for a swim.

Jose Luis met us in reception, so, picking up keys was a breeze and we parked in the ample underground car park. Lovely purpose-built studio apartment with wonderful views of San Jose bay and the sea and a five minute walk to the center. Perfect space for a couple, comfortable bed, cooking facilities, fridge and all very clean - all we needed for a few very happy days. Pool is a lovely bonus, too! A wonderful walk over the hill to Playa Genoves or a short drive, also to the other-worldly Monsul beach. Can't wait to return!
