“Relaxing holiday”
Beautiful and relaxing location with swimming pool and jacuzzi surrounded by National Park Cabo de Gata. Lovely hosts Merce and Pepe looked after us exceptionally. We had a very good breakfast, gluten free as well. This villa is in walking distance to the beach, shops, supermarket and restaurants. There is tourist office nearby offering trips around the Park which we booked and were very happy to see beautiful beaches which are a part of this Park. Highly recommended.

“A Special Place to Stay!”
Casa Agua Marina really is a home from home. From the lovely breakfast where we sat with the mountain view every morning, to the peaceful location which is still only five minutes walk from the town centre, to the relaxing pool area and comfortable well appointed room, everything was wonderful! The hosts, Merche and Pepe (and the adorable Pancho!) made our stay so much more - they were so kind, accommodating, and welcoming. Our sixth stay in San José was the absolute best because of them. We will be back as soon as we can!

“Best place I stayed during my grand tour in Spain”
Basically all was perfect. To start with, fantastic nice, friendly and helpful hosts, you immediately feel welcome. Secondly, it is a lovely house, in quiet place, near the village, it is very clean and nicely decorated. Lovely garden with several options to relax on the sun beds next to the pool. Very good breakfast as a starter of your day. Adorable dogs, who gently welcome you when you return from your day trip. I would love to come back one day.

Nice spacious room, lovely outdoor area. Breakfast was great. Very peaceful place. Within walking distance of restaurants. Merche is an amazing and super friendly host. She has thought of every little detail to make your stay comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay!

“Home away from home”
Wonderful hosts who made it possible to tour the area to the fullest. Merche and Pepe even offered their own utility truck to access difficult to get to places by road car. They gave us their binoculars where needed.They dropped and picked us up so that we could do hiking trails. It was a very personal touch to all matters

“Really happy to have found Casa Agua Marina.....will definitely be back...a rare find”
Lovely view from breakfast table overlooking garden and pool and then across to the hills of the national park. Merche was very attentive at breakfast we were offered a selection of juices, a massive mug of milky coffee (our choice), cheese bread, homemade cakes and fresh fruit. More than enough for the start of the day....We were given our own patio area on the roof and when we had food delivered, Merche got us plates, glasses, cutlery, napkins, she was so sweet. One day we arrived back early and the goat herder was herding his goats past the back of the house. The house is on the edge of the National Park but still only 10 mins walk to the centre and beach of San Jose. Merche is interested in your plans for the day and offered us binoculars to take with us and has a book full of suggestions for sightseeing. Are rare treasure, especially for dog owners, where the dogs are also extremely well behaved.

Merche & Pepe are fantastic hosts in this charming B&B: they do not only provide you with fantastic restaurant & hiking tips around San Jose, they also deliver wonderful breakfast with tasty home made jam! Quiet rooms, swimming pool with fantastic views, turtles/frogs/dogs as pet, easy combinable with San Jose city and Cabo De Gata national parc, Casa Agua Marina is the place to stay over when visiting this part of Spain!
