I thought the food was mediocre, from Caesar salad with so much dressing that it looked like creamed spinach and uneatable to mushy overcooked pasta.

The restaurant is actually pretty good though service is sometimes unresponsive.

Provided towels and a face towel, which was great. Food in the evening was lovely. Close to Cahal Pech which is definitely worth a visit.

The staff were wonderful and helpful, the room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The onsite restaurant food was excellent and I will definitely be back.

Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Rooms have a fridge and coffee machine which is great for keeping your drinks cool and having a coffee early on a morning before tours. The hotel has a nice pool, and a nice restaurant attached. It is in a quiet area close to a couple of supermarkets.

Food was excellent. We ate our meals at the hotel when we weren't on excursions. Loved the view from the restaurant!

“Good place to stay, but quite a walk to the center”

The Rolson Hotel is located on the edge of the town, in a neighborhood near the road to the border. Although the walking distance from the center/bus station to the hotel does not seem long on the map, it takes almost half an hour on the way there, and the return is a bit faster. The road to the hotel goes up considerably! The room was fine; excellent beds and spacious bathroom. You can have breakfast in the restaurant for a reasonable price and we also had a good meal there in the evening. When booking, you can choose between rooms on the pool side and (more expensive) mountain side. It would be good to mention that on the pool side the road runs to the border (with noise from trucks, especially in the morning).
