The shared kitchen was very well equipped for preparing your own meals. The location was close to the tour alley, the market, the grocery stores and the chocolate factory. The hot sauce tasting on the rooftop terrace is not to be missed. Who knew there were so many hot flavors. The bed was also comfortable and the shower had lots of hot water. Edgar was very responsive to my requests.

The accommodation was good, with a good sized room with two double beds and a big bathroom. You also had access to a shared kitchen and it was located right in the centre of San Ignacio.

The price was really good. The location was convenient - it was within walking distance (about 2 1/2 blocks uphill) of down town. The room was clean and the bed I slept on was comfortable (I never tried the 2nd bed in the room). The bathroom was very large and everything worked - the water pressure was acceptable. The shared kitchen area was well stocked for ease in cooking and very clean. The best was the hanging bench at the entrance - for sitting and just watching life go by.

“Small apartment in the city center”

The apartment is located only a few steps away from the market and the central area of the town. The apartment itself consists of a private room and a bathroom, and a shared kitchen.

Basic room, but very spacious including a huge private bathroom. Filtered water in the communal kitchen. Hot shower. Cooking classes offered at the rooftop bar above the hotel. Very friendly staff who provided lots of recommendations. Right in the heart of San Ignacio.

The young man who checked us was very kind and very helpful, he also hosted the Mary Sharp tour for us and we had a really good time

Rainforest Haven Inn was well located to town and the kitchen was well set up and really useful. Shamira was a friendly host, the bedroom was spacious, as is the bathroom and l enjoyed sitting on the swing chair on the front verandah a lot of the time. We also spent a couple of evenings on the roof top verandah which is a lovely man’s new hot sauce and rum tasting business. Would recommend a stay here.

Very communicative and helpful, room was very clean and spacious! Would definitely come back.

Note that, despite the name, this is not a hotel, but rooms rented out in a private home. The hosts were nice, just something I was not aware of when making the booking. The room had a good size. AC and internet worked well.

Excellent owner. Very attentive to everything we needed. Helped us with getting around. Made sure we were comfortable.

The rooms are very spacious and have AC. There is a small kitchen available in the shared space. The staff was caring and open to our requests (we left our backpacks there for half a day after checking out)
