“Lush green and tranquil”

Dominic and the Nabitunich personnel are very kind and eager to share all the possible tips to enjoy and get around Belice. The grounds are lush green and with a wide variety of ornamental plants, and from this lodge you can even look at the tip of the Castillo at the Xunantunich archeological site. The breakfast was delicious and you have a set up for coffee, tea and cookies in your room. The room and bathroom are kept clean and well-equipped.

Lovely escape from the Western civilization, fully natural and connected with nature... Amazing garden, great host providing all the necessary information for the region and getting a personal touch to you as a guest during your stay... Breakfast was great, Wi-Fi working properly... Staff attentive and always ready to help. All in all, the best place to stay in San Ignacio area...

We love this place. We stayed here 2 years ago also. The grounds are stunningly beautiful, the staff is very accommodating.This place is a little rustic but naturally beautiful. We will return.

Dominique make you feel like at home, very warm welcoming, always available for a tour of his garden or a chat. you can go by foot on the Maya site next to the lodge, beautiful garden with lots of birds. Beautiful location. Convenient to many sites of interest. The host and family are wonderful - friendly, helpful, and interesting. Wildlife can be seen at and nearby the accommodation.

“Nabitunich is a gem”

Dominic’s welcome, advice and conversation. Beautiful property and grounds. We were travelling without a car. At first we thought this would be a problem but it wasnt! On Dominic’ssuggestion,we walked from Nabitunch through the fields and along the river bank into the local town in about 30 minutes. Here there are coffee spots, a good lunch place ( Bennys), an adjacent bakery and well stocked supermarket. The Mayan ruins are across the river and just another mile of walking but uphill so best visited early, when cool. We also took a taxi to Belize Botanic Gardens which is a lovely quiet place. Worth taking a guided tour. Dinner was great value.

“Immersed in nature.”

The location was outstanding for birdwatching and nature. The people were all friendly and helpful. The room was large and had everything we needed. Go to the local Botanic Gardens and 1000ft falls.

We had a very pleasant stay and the accommodation itself was excellent. What really made the difference, however, was the hospitality of the owner, Dominic. He is truly a man of the world: open-minded, interesting, and very engaging to talk to. He takes genuine interest in his guests, while at the same time giving them enough space and freedom, which creates a perfect balance. Conversations with him were always enjoyable and intellectually stimulating. We always felt welcome and could count on him whenever needed. “hidden gem with a love for nature”

Dominic and his team know how to make guests feel instantly welcome and ensure they want for nothing! Breakfast and dinner were always freshly prepared. Dominic took a genuine interest in all the guests and is incredibly open-minded. He organizes everything that's requested! The location of the accommodation can only be described as "excellent"! Situated outside of St. Ignacio with a view of the Mayan ruins. It's a small farm where dogs and roosters play. In the mornings and afternoons, a few horses ride across the meadow. You can easily walk down to the river and observe iguanas, or hike directly to the ferry for the Xabitunich ruins! We had a truly fantastic time there! Thank you so much!!

“Nabitunich, a faraway home”

I felt like visiting friends living in countryside. A cool place with everything you wish, confortable room, ood food and some conversation, great ideas for tours to the maya temples in the area...I strongly recommend.

“Nice place”

The place is very very nice, the garden is amazing with different kinds of plants, flowers and birds. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, Dominic even came to pick us up from our shuttle. Breakfast is good too! Of course the place is not right in the center of San ignacio and there are no shops or restaurants around but we knew it when we booked.

The location is absolutely beautiful. Dominic the owner was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about the attractions in the area surrounding the property.

It was so peaceful! Loved the view of the jungle and hearing the sound of the monkeys. The garden is so beautiful! Felt like could stay there forever. Also the host was really friendly and made us felt like home!

We had such a great stay here, it is such a beautiful property. Dominic was extremely helpful for what to do doing the day and the breakfast (included) was the best!!

“If available book you won’t regret it”

Would give 15/10 if I could. In my top 5 stays ever. I was wondering if staying out of town might be an issue but once I was there I didn’t want to leave. The view is to die for and I was up at 5am every morning to sit out and watch and listen to the birds and howler monkeys. A great walk along the river to xanuntunich. Dominic is a wonderful and kind host. Evening meals are simple but yummy and amazing value. Breakfast is awesome. If it’s available book. You won’t regret it

The farm is beautiful, rooms are spacious and comfy and Dominic is so friendly and helpful with recommendations and advice. Both dinner and breakfast was also excellent - cannot recommend this place highly enough.
