Overview
Offering an outdoor pool, restaurant and sun terrace, Hotel Kappara is set on a hill in San Gwann. All spacious rooms come with an LCD TV with cable channels. Sliema is 3 km away. Rooms at the Kappara have simple wooden furnishings and a small kitchenette (which can be requested at a cost). Some rooms feature a balcony. Breakfast is continental style, with ham, cheese and croissants. A cooked English breakfast is available on request. The year-round pool has a sun terrace with loungers and parasols. The nearest sandy beaches are at St. George's Bay, 4 km away. It is a 20-minute drive to Malta International Airport.

Breakfast was plentiful and catered for a wide range of tastes within the scope of a continental style. Staff were very attentive and made sure all choices were always available. Room was quiet with a balcony wide enough to seat 2 persons comfortably. Pleasant view over rooftops and valley. Staff were most helpful arranging transport or giving advice on things to do. Reception was manned 24 hours per day.

“Excellent stay in Malta”
Our stay at this hotel was exactly what we expected and it really blew us away. The check-in process was very quick and easy, which we appreciated. One of the best parts was the included breakfast, which was excellent with a great variety of options. Everything lived up to our expectations and made our trip very enjoyable.

“OK, but would not select again - too basic.”
The room was basic, but clean and adequate. I had to ask for an extra blanket as only one was available. TV was only Maltese local channels and the remote difficult to operate, lots of scrambled channels. Hot water for shower took good 10 minutes to warm up.
