“Beautiful views, clean pool and room and great food”

stunning location, plenty of parking, nice pool and fantastic restaurant. Views out across the countryside were amazing and the hotel has that old world charm with marble floors, odd bits and pieces of it's history hanging on the walls and friendly staff. We arrived very early but they were happy for us to check in and put our bags in our room and then use the facilities. The drive up is fine, yes it's a little rough in places but hey, it's up the side of a mountain! Room was nice and cool, sadly no view from side we were (room 106) but beds were comfy and bathroom/shower lovely and clean. Food at the restaurant was excellent as was the wine list. Siting on the terrace, with the fairy lights and view whilst we ate was pretty special. They were also very accommodating too, preparing a plain pasta dish for our picky 5 year old. We will certainly stay again if have the chance.

“Wonderful”

The location is excellent. It is up a winding road, which is a slightly more difficult drive, but without it you wouldn’t be in the mountains looking down on Pisa and the surrounding area. Our flight was very delayed but when we arrived we were still greeted with a glass of Prosecco and a friendly smile at around 2:30am. There was an event on the Saturday night and we went along. The food at the restaurant was excellent, we had our two boys (6 & 4) with us and the meal was had at a leisurely pace. My husband and I had several courses (4?) with a bottle of wine while the boys had penne bolognese. Everything was delicious and a band played on the lawn on the terrace. The swimming pool was very much enjoyed by the children

The place offers an incredible view over the plain showing on one side Pisa and the other, Lucca. The swimming pool was great and the restaurant was impressive. Special mention to the staff: Silvia and the others were so helpful and kind.

Great views over the Tuscan plain once you made it to the top of a very difficult 2km track. Proprietor was extremely pleasant and helpful.

Without letting us know, the managers of the place organized loud party music just below our room windows during the whole day and until 1am at night. Impossible for us and our children to rest during the day or sleep at night. Enormous headache instead. Apartment was very dark and in poor condition with no air and no noise insulation.

Omg ! We arrived at 22:00 and didn’t loose too much , night view was amazing ! And atmosphere to sit whole night with glass of wine 😍 and morning I was speachless after opening windows 🪟 stunning place and for sure will go back there , nice breakfast and both workers were so nice and polite , rooms a bit old but you not going there to sit in the room 😍 highly reccomending

“Great hotel in beautiful location”

Great hotel in a beautiful location. Very friendly and helpful staff on reception and in the restaurant. A special thank you to Sylvia in the restaurant who went out of her way to make sure we understood the menu and recommend dishes that we would like. Dinner and breakfast were both very good. Just a note for anyone with walking difficulties - there are a lot of steps down to the rooms, restaurant, reception and pool. A great stay - thank you.

Fantastic view, tranquility, great pool, Tuscan rustic esthetics, lots of space, big apartment, exceptional dinners, helpful staff. A place to come back to when in Pisa.

Location was ideal, even if the access road was a little bumpy in places. The restaurant was outstanding and wine selection excellent. Room was also perfect and the staff extremely accommodating.
