“Home away from home”

Everything was absolutely perfect. A beautiful historic tuscan house, Mr Manfredi took a great care of us, we felt like we were visiting a friend. Not to forget his two furry supervisors - Ginger and Macchia.

My 11 year old son and I spent 4 glorious nights at this property. After a long train/car trip, we were welcomed with scrumptious meats, cheeses, caprese and bruschetta, and a warm welcome from Manfredi and the sweet cats. The location was perfect - rural and quiet yet close to San Gimignano and other wonderful towns. The new pool is stunning and provided a much needed respite from the 100 degree weather (thank you heat dome in Europe!). Breakfast was plentiful and yummy, especially the homemade focaccia which was addicting. The rooms and public spaces were spotless and tastefully decorated with family heirlooms. Olive oil is produced on the property - ask for a tour of the cellar and bring some olive oil home! I highly recommend Rocco Degli Olivi and hope to return one day! Tip: Discovered hiking trails and swimmable river in Colle di Val d'Elsa - Sentierelsa Trail, 25 minutes away - fabulous and refreshing! PS: Miscommunication between Booking.com and the property regarding our request for a twin-bedded room. We ended up sharing a bed which was not ideal but did not detract from our wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful time at this cozy b&b. Manfredi the host was very nice and gave us a lot of tips for what to do and where to go. He also made a good breakfast which we enjoyed on the terrace with a wonderful view. We also enjoyed the new pool area and the two beautiful cats. A wonderful experience!

A wonderfull location in Tuscany! We had an authenticiteit room with a large terrace. The host, Manfredi, was very helpfull. He gave us a lot of tips, places to visit, restaurants, …. He made delicious focaccio for his guests. The coffee is excellent! You can have breakfast in- or outside with a beautiful view on the valley with olive trees. We enjoyed our stay at Rocca degli Olivi!

We love this place. Manfredi is really good man and his olivě oil… mmm yummy :)) We look forward to coming back here again.

“Everything we hoped for and more”

A simply stunning location. Our stay was everything we hoped for and more and we were very sad to leave. Manfredi is a superb and welcoming host who makes the best focaccia in Italy! We were treated to fresh loaves each morning for breakfast along with his own olive oil. He even had English breakfast tea and milk which was brilliant as a tea drinker travelling in Europe. Ginger and Macchia, the cats, were very cute. A must stay if you are in the area.

Everything was very nice! The gentleman who welcomed us explained everything in detail and was very helpful. The breakfast was also very delicious – we really enjoyed it. Thank you very much!

We had such a great time in this lovely place with a very unique atmosphere.! The owner has welcomed us so nicely and the room was neat and comfortable. I wish we could stay more than just one night but we will come back next time for sure.

The property is included amid lush greenery...kept spot clean and only 5 min drive from the main town san gimignano. If you want a true toscany experience this hotel is it.

The host is very nice and welcomed. He also shows us around the premise. The surroundings with amazing parnaomric view is perfect for pictures. We have a decent room with comfortable bed. The location is quite closed to the old town with few mins driving. The host briefs us where to park the car and recommendation on restaurants which we enjoyed the dinner. Breakfast is included which is a bonus to us. We'll come back again and stay longer.
