Beautiful hotel, in a great location with fantastically helpful staff. It was a real gem, much better than I expected. Simple (i.e. no turndown service, mini bar or rubbish like that) but everything you need.

The host - Sylvia - was the kindest and most helpful person we met in Italy. Not only did she answer all of our questions but she answered things we didn't ask: she told us where a playground was for our 4 year old and suggested restaurants that were appropriate for taking her. The room was beautiful and the soaps and products were high quality. They also have a fridge available if you ask. The shower was easily the nicest we encountered and everything was perfectly clean. The location is also perfect.

“Wonderful place to stay in a wonderful town”

The location is perfect (taking into account car traffic limitations). Sylvia knows everything about San Gimignano, so her advice was very valuable. She also helped with luggage storage after the checkout. We stayed in the "romantic" room with frescoes on the ceiling and loved it. The shower worked as it should, which is not always the case in the hilltop towns in Italy.

Great location, very close from bus drop off and yet a few minutes walk to the main piazza. Spacious room, good shower, and bathroom.close to many restaurants, cafe and bars. Quite. Friendly and helpful staff welcomed us to this fantastic town. We will come back again!

Romantic rooms in a fantastic location - the pictures were nice, but didn't really convey how lovely the accommodation was. Big rooms, sparkling clean, quiet and cool and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They even kept our bags after checkout so we could squeeze in a few more hours in this atmospheric old town. We loved it!

Very helpful explaining where to eat, what to visit, wineries. Very accommodating with our room. Right in the middle of San Gimignano but just off the main area. Very quiet. We would highly recommend!!
