“Outstanding place to stay!”

This is an outstanding place to stay. The service and attention to detail are first class. The room was large and exactly as described with a very high standard of finish. Georgio was the perfect host and suggested places to visit and eat and they booked our table in local restaurants. The buffet breakfast could not be improved upon and we have stayed in many establishments. Well worth the money and a great location for touring Tuscany.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The heritage property has been beautifully preserved but updated with comfortable modern facilities. The owner, Giorgio, is warm and welcoming! He gave us great advice on how to prioritise our short time in the Tuscan countryside. We would love to come back here with more time in the future! Also, the breakfast was perfect and the wine tasting was good too!

Amazing location in the middle of the Tuscany vineyards. About 20 minute drive to San Gimignano. Lot of space in the rooms. Clean. Super kind staff. Great breakfast. Be aware that there are no food options after breakfast, so you either have to go into town to eat or buy something to eat at the hotel.

Wow, wow, wow – this stay was beyond our expectations! The property is located inside a beautiful winery, with a spacious and spotless room. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with fresh pastries baked locally and everything tasting so fresh. The owner, Giuliano, was incredibly kind and attentive – it truly felt like it was important to him that we enjoyed our stay. We felt like VIP guests in his home, while still having complete privacy. Every morning he went over our daily plans with us and gave wonderful recommendations for places to visit in the area. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we didn’t want the vacation to end – it truly felt like paradise

We enjoyed breakfast in the morning with beautiful home made produce every morning. Georgio helped us plan our day every morning. He was the perfect host. Thank you to his wife for the delicious fresh cakes in the morning. We will return

“Exceptional Tuscan Agriturismo Experience”

A truly authentic Tuscan accomodation set among vineyards and olive groves and located on a scenic road between San Gimignano and Volterra. Our host Giorgio was extremely welcoming, engaging and accommodating. He provided us with information about the local area and recommended places of interest to visit during our stay. The accommodation was very spacious, clean, well equipped and extremely comfortable. Outside there were many seated areas to relax and enjoy the beautiful Tuscan landscapes. Breakfast was delicious and there were many varied homemade options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Il Palagione.
