“An authentic experience in Tuscany with wonderful staff and a beautiful villa.”

Beautiful villa in Tuscany! We stayed at the end of May and the weather was amazing. The pool was open and the water temperature was 23°C. We truly enjoyed the peace and quiet. The four owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. They are happy to explain anything you would like to know and even helped us with our luggage. The accommodation is much more beautiful than in the photos — the estate is huge and perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The location is ideal for exploring Tuscany and only about a 10-minute drive from San Gimignano.

The location and history of the beautifully restored villa make it very unique. The owners are extremely welcoming and engaging. The dinner was a highlight.

I loved the staff and their attitude towards the guests, I loved the two dinners which were excellent, I loved the apartment which was huge and equipped with everything you need with a large refrigerator, and I loved the amazing extra, in short it was perfect.

We are coming back! The most wonderful hosts, beautifully restored house and the most magnificent view!

Where do I start, it was amazing from the moment we set foot into the Property. The room, the view, the pool, the location. The dinners were sensational. However what made this stay even more special were the hosts who made us feel like family.

Absolutely stunning location with amazing views and wonderfully warm and kind hosts. They offer dinner on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays which I highly recommend. They also offer cooking classes which I totally forgot about. A mistake I intend to correct to next time. The apartment we stayed in had great views and comfortable beds. Everything was very clean.

What a special place run by special people who go out of their way to ensure that you leave the property with nothing but wonderful memories. We had dinner on the terrace one evening and the food was exceptional. I wish we could have stayed longer to have taken the cooking course. The place is beautifully laid out which enables you to have your own space. Don't hesitate just book!

“Trip highlight - Il Borghetto Tuscan Holiday”

Our stay was restful, peaceful and the scenery was breathtaking. Il Borghetto is a very special place to holiday. The owners were so helpful, and couldn't do more to help make our stay more comfortable. Dining in the restaurant was exciting, not knowing what was going to be presented, and the food was always fresh, local and exceptional and served in a gorgeous space surrounded by regional wines of many ages.

Everything. Firstly, the owners are wonderful and we felt so welcome. We had a self contained apartment which was beautiful and were able to prepare our own meals if needed. During our stay we were also able to have breakfast under the pergola with amazing views of vineyards and neighbouring farms & lucky enough to dine with the hosts on 2 nights, with other guests, once outside again under the pergola and another in their very old cellar. Oh! and there is the pool and surrounding garden area to relax which was frequented daily.

Fantastic family run hotel. The spacious apartments are meticulously well kept. The pool and gardens are beautiful. The owners / family are lovely. Would definitely recommend.

The accomodation was clean, spacious and well equiped. The personal was very nice and helpful. Amazing dinner on the terrace with the view of the surrounding vineyards consisting of 4 delicious courses made from local ingredients accompanied by great wine, which the personal kindly helps to select.

Everything! It was a last minute weekend break and it turned out fabulous even beyond expectations! The owners made us feel super welcome and they gave us great advise about the surrounding. We loved the breathtaking view and the dinner was delicious! The swimming pool area is just wonderful!
