“Great place to stay”

Beautiful setting with friendly staff. A really wonderful place to stay with great homemade food and wine tasting from their own vineyard.

Practically everything was lovely. The surroundings, cleanliness of establishment and rooms. Rooms were cleaned every day and staff very helpful. For a three star, standards exceeded our expectations by far. But one of the highlights was the buffet breakfast was amazing. We ate a dinner there as well and both staff and food were top notch. Highly recommend.

Stunning location, family run hotel and vineyard. Staff so accommodating and food delicious. Reasonably priced. They also provided a shuttle into town. Loved our stay here and would highly recommend

Location is great, especially for people who like to stretch their legs (25-30min nice and easy walk up to San Gimignano, walking trail). One must have a car to go anywhere else though (Siena, Volterra, Chianti region in ca.30-40min). Parking available. Breakfast was wonderful and tasty, plenty to choose from. Hotel is super clean and all staff is nice. Nice outdoor pools.

Spacious and clean rooms. The hotel is quiet, with a good breakfast and a convenient parking area. It’s also not far from the city and wineries. For such a reasonable price, it’s a really very good option. I would definitely recommend it.

The breakfast was extensive with great variety of food. Most enjoyable to eat outside on the terrace. The staff were attentive and kind and especially Laura.

“Excellent place near San Gimignano”

This is a lovely hotel. The swimming pool is a good size. The bar serving their own wine is comfortable. The restaurant was closed on the evening we were there but breakfast was excellent (the best we had on our Tuscany trip). Walking distance through countryside to San Gimignano. Would definitely consider staying here again.

“Three stars definitely are not enough for the rating of this hotel”

The breakfast was outstanding, offering a lot of options. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Cleanliness is perfect, and the facilities are in very good condition. A kettle kit with tea bags and coffee is available upon request. A very special experience is the restaurant da Pode, which is located on the hotel grounds, belongs to the family, and is mentioned in the Michelin catalog. The restaurant serves excellent Italian dishes; we had dinner twice, both times it was outstanding. The Steak Tartare is prepared by Sergio tableside, making it a unique performance (although we did not order it). Tenuta Sovestro, a winery next to the hotel and another business managed by the same family, has very interesting local-style wines and offers personalized tastings. Shuttle to San Gimignano is also a very good option to visit the city.

Perfectly located. Really good facilities, extremely clean and very friendly staff. The breakfast was really good. The restaurant for dinner is also delicious. The pool area is very nice. I would definitely recommend!
