“Lovely location on a hilltop surrounded by vineyards.”

We had booked a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with a garden in the front. The apartment was large in size. Had all the amenities needed. 2 large bathrooms and bedrooms. The swimming pool was very nice. It’s close to San Gimignano and a supermarket. 15 min drive. All the other small villages are also close by. The bedding linen, towels are top notch. The sky is so clean and less light, you can constantly see satellites and fireflies at night.

We had the best time here, the location was perfect! The apartments are fully equipped and the setting is surreal, with vineyards and olive trees and the views over the valleys to San Gimignano. Corinna was a fantastic host and went out of her way to accommodate our special request that we had. We were sad to leave but will definitely be back!

“Beautiful and relaxing stay”

Had a beautiful stay at Agriturismo Castello di Montauto. It was so peaceful and the apartment was very well equipped and very spacious. Corinna was incredibly helpful with any questions we had. We spent two days doing nothing but lying by the pool, looking at the great views, cooking and relaxing. Located a very short drive away from the town/supermarket etc.

Clean and very well equipped, like at home. It’s close to San Gimignano (1 hour walk). We had an apartment with a double and a single room, and both had separate bathrooms. We had a separate part of the garden in front of the apartment. A welcome basket with little snacks and coffee/tea is a very kind gesture. The owner is very nice and helpful.

Actually everything! The apartment is extremely clean and has everything we need including a very comfortable bed. Antonella was extremely helpful before and during our stay. Definitely our choice if we get to return to San Gimignono!

It was lovely to be back. A wonderful place: serene, remote, yet not far from San Gimignano, with a beautiful view onto the town and the surrounding landscape /vinyards, olive trees, fields, hills). The appartment was spacious, well equipped with tasteful furnishings and really comfortable beds and high quaoity bedding. Loved the sweet cat and the area to sit outside under the cypresses. Very welcoming, kind and helpful host. Thank you for everything, and we hope to return!

“Ideal Tuscany escape at Castello di Montauto”

As a family of four adults, we had a really enjoyable stay at Agriturismo Castello di Montauto. We found it was the perfect location to be based to drive and visit other towns in Tuscany. Siena, Florence and Montalcino were all within an easy 1-1.5 hours drive. After the day's sightseeing in these other towns, we could return to the apartment and relax by the pool overlooking the glorious countryside, or pop in to San Gimignano (a short drive away) for a drink, dinner, gelato or to buy some food for dinner at the local supermarket. The full kitchen was very well equipped including a coffee maker/pods and all the equipment you'd need to cook dinner/lunch/breakfast. The property was spotless and the pool/pool area was kept looking perfect. Finally, the accommodation's representative was extremely helpful and informative and especially when we needed help with an important item left behind in the room.
