“Comfortable hostel with super friendly host”
We loved your stay at Meraki Boutique Hostel ! Specially thanks to Tatiana Quintero she was so nice and helped us a lot during our stay at the hostel (book tours / transportation / laundry / recommendations / etc...). Please give her a raise because she is the soul of this hostel ! It's also important to mention that we had the room with a window & view on the city (was not the case for other rooms). We loved the conviviale aspect of the table and kitchen (to chat with other guests during breakfast). The location is also great close to a shopping center and it's easy to cross the river for the local buses (small terminal inside the city).

Tatiana, who was running the place single handed, was exceptionally attentive and helpful. The shared kitchen was great and cleaner than most, perhaps because the lack of a dorm favours an older clientele. The Meraki is really more of a "pensione" than a hostel. The large common area is nicely appointed. The rooms are rather spartan and not large but ours managed to contain a great king-size bed. The bathroom was clean and had the best on-demand electric hot water heater we've ever used. Very good value for money. Locaton close to the central market was very convenient.

Best hostal we stayed on our two months journey in Colombia. Very clean, spacious common room, very well equipped kitchen and stuff very helpful. Beautiful old courtyard house. Private rooms are great too, with a little balcony in front, huge beds. Only like 10min walk to the center.

I honestly cannot fault this place! Tatiana is amazing and so helpful- her breakfasts were delicious. My room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The common area is funky and has a great kitchen. I thought the price was really reasonable.and the location was great. . A wonderful place to stay.

“Central and quiet close ro a mall. In old renovated house”
Central and quiet. Nice view on last floor San Gil is not very easy to be with so much traffic but the hotel is quiet and steps away of supermarket in a clean and spacious Mall.

Close to the Terminalito and not very far from the bigger bus terminal and the big mall. The room was impressive for its price.

This is the best hostel we ever stayed at! The location is close to the center, a shopping mall and a supermarket with fruit store. The rooms are really clean and spacious with huge and very comfortable beds, there is also a private bathroom with hot shower. The kitchen is clean, well equipped and has drinking water. And there is also a big common area with TV, boardgames and information about trips and tours. Staff is so friendly and super helpful and prepares a delicious breakfast. We highly recommend this place if you want to have a comfortable and chilled stay in San Gil!

“Awesome hotel in a safe location”
The hotel is really well located, came with a delicious breakfast, and the beds and pillows were really comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and helped us with directions to the bus station. The view from the balcony was awesome, and the shutter windows were really cool
